We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Dar El Menia. Beautiful, genuinely authentic riad. Excellent location just off the main street. We had the ground floor room which was the cheapest. There were only 2 other people staying there so noise wasn't a problem but if the riad was full it may well have been. Breakfast on the terrace...

My daughter and I stayed here in June of 2014, and it exceeded our expectations. Graham has done a beautiful job of seeing to the restoration and decor of the house. The roof is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. Breakfasts on the roof are delicious, and the staff are very pleasant. The location is superb.

This is a highly authentic and nicely refurbished dar in the medina just off one of the main medina roads. Location is therefore excellent. We spent a few nights here in December when the nights do get cold. Since a dar is an open house around a patio, the rooms tend to get cold as well although there was electric...

The first Riad in Fes did not have available room for us on the way back, so we booked this one for last two days in Morocco. It had great reviews and we thought that it would be another amazing experience. Unfortunately it was far from it. Let me start with the positives. It is nicely refurbished in the Moroccan...

This is a beautiful property. The staff were wonderful, friendly people. Graham was a gracious host. Having a glass of wine on the roof at sunset is fantastic. Had a large room with 3 twin beds and a sitting room, which was perfect for 3 friends. Absolutely take them up on meeting you in the car park, we would never...

We stayed in the ground floor room. It was a little small, but doable. There were a few large roaches that we noticed the final evening. The owner was very helpful when we had to make phone calls to the airport about our missing luggage.

Graham our host was so helpful organising us pick up and a half day tour around Fez through email beforehand. He had beer and wine in the kitchen which we could avail of at an extra cost. We were also able to help ourselves to coffee and tea from the kitchen and use the amenities in the kitchen. We had...

As a regular visitor to Fes I've stayed in many places but Dar El Menia remains my favourite. I've reviewed the Dar before but it's always good to remind oneself of it's qualities. Well placed just off the main 'drag' of the Medina and close to the nearest car park. Well appointed rooms, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful and knowledgable...

Dar El Menia is a hidden secret tucked in the most narrow alley deep inside the Fes medina. Our visit with our teenage sons was one of the most memorable trips we will ever have. Dar El Menia boasts absolute authenticity of true moroccan decor oozing welcome hospitality. The rooms are most generous in size and comfort. Home made breads, jams...
