Let's be clear: a riad is not a hotel! That's why they are so much cheaper! If only some of the other reviewers of this place understood that... This riad is a family home traditionally based around the open courtyard with guest rooms off this. The setting is beautiful with gorgeous mosaic tiles and plants, complete with cute birds singing....

Location is really good in a quite street of the Medina. The personnel is friendly although the owner doesn't speak much French nor English. His daughters however all speak French and some manage a little English. I stayed three nights, first night in the room on the top of the roof which is for three persons and is quite noisy....

Such a cute lady with her family! so nice! they spoke almost no english but we understood each other anyway. Nice but small breakfast. She had a lot of friends and gave us good deals at restaurants and hamam. super nice terrace. She was a power lady! And great location, really really great. Took about 10 min to the main...

When you first get into the Riad Chennaoui, it's really exciting. It's a beautiful big courtyard Riad and you feel like you've stepped into a really traditionally Moroccan hotel. This is how we felt and we were progressively disappointed as our time went on. The included breakfast is a crepe and a pastry, both very bad quality, every day. There...

A friend and I got hopelessly lost trying to find our Riad a stopped into Riad Chennaoui for help. The staff was extremely helpful, going above and beyond by making calls for us and letting us use their wifi when we weren't even their guests! While we had a great stay when we eventually found our riad, the helpful staff...

Our family love this Riad. Nothing on the outside but a treasure incident with excellent Riad. The way to get true Morocco feeling :) Nice rooms, good breakfast with home made products. Very friendly staff. I recommend it. As it is in Medina, you can reach it only on foot. Which is good.

As a large family reasonably priced accommodation is always hard to find but this did not disappoint. We were looking for a base to stay rather than a luxury hotel and we would definitely return here again. The family were very nice and the father in particular went out of his way on numerous occasions to help us purchase items...

We were staying there twice :) It is nice place. Friendly staff and sweet breakfast. To check in takes ages and they are not sure about payments ( if you want to pay in £, but they accepted them which was better for us ). We really enjoied our stay. Thanks :)

You can only walk to this Riad. Unless you have a scooter, you cannot drive here. We are a well abled family, so the walks were fine, but you do have to watch out for speeding scooters. Outside, it doesn't look like much, but when you go inside you find a charming beautifully detailed Riad. The courtyard is quite large,...

Nice breakfast, but the toilet smell in the room is just unacceptable. I spoke with them about it - in french- and they told me i knew what i booked... Some of the staff does not even (or at least pretend) speak French, so that a "guide" had to translate. I was left alone with him when we argued about...

“You have to walk through narrow walkways to get to the riad. Initially, we (2 girls) felt really unsafe but after the second night we realised it was fine, even if there were people out and talking to you, that's all it is; felt much safer here than back at home.”
