Labranda Rose Aqua Parc has received mixed reviews, with guests praising its central location but criticizing the outdated and sometimes unclean rooms. The hotel's atmosphere is described as French-centric with intrusive music, dampening the ambiance. While the cleanliness of certain areas is lauded, the amenities are seen as lacking, with reports of worn deckchairs and cold pools.
Noise disturbances from construction and thin walls further detract from the experience. Service quality, especially at reception and the restaurant, often disappoints guests. Many find the value proposition of the hotel questionable, citing various disappointments and unexpected charges.

This hotel isn’t what it looks like in the pictures advertised. Unfortunately I was disappointed this was my first family all inclusive holiday as a four and I booked this hotel especially for the water park for my two young children age 6 & 1years old. Firstly this is the first hotel I have been to that did not provide a kettle as I was relying on hot water for my baby’s food which I needed to make with boiling water so I had to wait every morning to use their hot water in the restaurant also there was no toothpaste or toothbrushes in the hotel room, for the price you pay this is terrible! We only had shampoo. The restaurant food wasn’t nice at all very plane no flavour and very little to choose from. Secondly the hotel is very old and dusty most of the floor was cracked and broken walls inside and outside needs repainting you can tell it’s not looked after or haven’t been pained for a very long time. And lastly the water park which was the main reason why I booked this hotel for my children this was a BIG disappointment. The children slide area needs to be cleaned and painted again very dull and old nothing like the pictures advertised and then the water for the children pool was freezing my son and baby who is 1years old could not sit or use the slide for this reason so that was a waste of money! I had to pay to use the indoor pool because the water was warmer for the children to play and swim. This is not right for children to play in freezing cold water outdoors! Only good thing about this hotel was the staff. I will never book this hotel again or recommend it to anyone sorry.

Lovely reception area. The rooms are ok, they’re clean. The towels are well used, I even got towels with ripped seams! We didn’t know the tipping system for rooms when we arrived. After a quick Google search, we found out the maids prefer daily tips, rather than at the end of your stay. This is to ensure that tips are fairly given to who has cleaned your room each day. If you forget the tip, you may have to ask for clean towels. On my first couple of nights, they would take all the towels and not replace them!
The restaurant staff are friendly, one waiter in particular was the one that worked at breakfast and lunch. His name is Siad. I felt unwell one of the days and if I had managed to get down to breakfast he would have made me a tea to make me better he said.
Outside of Arabic the main language is French. The reception staff all speak English. In other areas of the hotel not all staff speak English fluently. Most of the fluent English speaking staff were still friendlier with the French tourists.
If you’re a person who likes to watch tv on holiday all the channels are French. It did not bother me, as I don’t watch tv on holiday, it’s only on for background noise.
There is a lovely mall about 7/8 minutes walking distance away. The big souk is a 40 minute walk. We took a taxi, which cost us 50 dirhum (approx £3.96/4.64€)
The bus & the train station are less than a 10 minute walk away. It is very easy to get a taxi, there is usually someone always standing outside the hotel to ask you if you want one.
Book tours online, these can be done before you even go. The hotel charges double for any tour you can purchase online and days you can go are limited with the hotel. I booked my hammam with the hotel spa, it was only 300 dirhum for 45 minutes (approx £23.96/27.87€). If you’ve never had a hammam I would definitely recommend it. You can get hammam everywhere, if you didn’t want to use the hotel spa.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I read some recently negative reviews which made me quite nervous about our holiday.
I didn't need to be as worried as the previous reviews lead me to be, our stay was good and as expected for the price and what we were expecting.
It's a busy hotel, we were on the 6th floor. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and were cleaned and restocked essentials daily. We had two rooms, one room's air-con was better than the other, however it wasn't too hot and uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, although difficultly asking questions due to language barriers (that's a me problem with very minimal French, only commenting about this for other people wanting to travel, this is definitely not a complaint).
Meal times I travelled with two children, one particular with new foods, but he ate (although the same thing each meal) but he was happy. Certain times seemed to be busy, we only encountered a really busy lunch on one of the days, which admitted seems chaotic with a big queue. I'd suggest eating a little later, the queue and rush only lasted about 20 minutes.
Plenty of choice in the buffet style food. Chips were served at lunch, and pizza for the evening meal made and cooked fresh as you watched.
Staff were always busy clearing tables refilling drinks etc, clear it is a very busy hotel catering for a large number of guests.
Breakfast was 6.30-10.30 (or 7am?) Lunch was 12.30-2.30 Snack seemed to be 4-5 Evening meal 7.30-9.30.
We ate in the Moroccan restaurant, food was delicious, but there was no menu so we weren't really sure what we were eating, it was delicious though but it would have been nice to know what it was 😊.
Drinks were served from bottles, and the sheer volume of people, didn't have chance to go flat, as I'd read in a previous review.
Pool area was hosed and cleaned regularly, and regular checks to the water were done using samples/adjusted water levels.
Pool opened at 9, and was very quiet until about 11.30 ish. If you like a quiet swim, this is the time to go. Splash pool shut between 1 and 2.30.
A market stall appeared on the Wednesday, maybe this is a weekly stall? Selling local spices, and souvenirs.
We booked two excursions through the hotel, and the man from meeting point was very helpful. We booked quad biking and 'Marrakesh by night'.
Over all our stay was enjoyable, with very little to complain about.

The experience at the hotel was horrible starting from the first day we arrived we presented the Reservation sheet and say we do not have Reservation, we stayed with our passports and we asked to which we were told not to worry about the Reservation suggested to make another payment to which I said I would not make since we had all paid and in the all-inclusive regime. We said we were going to talk to the agency and when we got to the room we saw that we were locked the door of the room with everything inside, not to mention that they were with our passports stored in a drawer to which apparently only the manager had the key and we insisted on the passports since it is our identification card in which the reception girl said not to worry that everything was fine but that he could not give that he had to wait for the manager once he had left the hotel . After solving the problem for which we had no fault returned the passports and there was no apology for the part of the hotel where our first day of vacation was spent in the reception and no one showed interest in solving the problem. Note that they are only attentive and more kind to the French. Because no one ever came to our side to ask if we needed anything while other people were asking . Sympathetic by the reception is even zero we never had a reception of these. Travel typeVacancies · Couple Rooms2,0Service1,0Location2,0 Highlights of the hotelFantastic view Food and beverageWhen it comes to food , most people catch food with their hands . Often there is a shortage of spoons at breakfast . We got to order juices at lunchtime and you apologized and said there was only water. A shame for a 4-star hotel

Location: really good.. Mall a 10 minute walk, has everything. Arcade closes at 11:30 but some of the games deduct your money without working. Be careful... Arcade boring after the hype.
Family room: huge, clean spacious. Be aware they switch off air conditioning during the night, so you will boil
Food: mediocre, we ended up getting takeaway most days as some food was inedible
Stayed for a week day 3 got sick. V &D. 😩
Splash pool: gets super rowdy if you've got little ones. Lifeguard around that pool ,non existent. Take 100 Moroccan money to pool for deposit on towels.
People get antsy about the pool chairs so be ready for that.
Literally nothing to eat after 10 drink after 11. So if you get in late, good luck.
The lifts are Awful. Literal nightmare.
I got late checkout that was nice not too expensive. Although they kept asking if I'd paid which cheesed me off. Check your systems!
All in all I rate it 4/10 . I've had worse. Much worse. But I've also had better for cheaper.
Other guests could be a bit rude but stand your ground.. most are lovely ...
Staff are nice, especially the entertainment team which was good, they had a snake and scorpion show, acrobatics belly dancing... Really good. Reception staff are a bit rude🤷🏿♀️
Nowhere to sit through performance so stood the whole time which was a downer
Drinks were meh.... Watered down to the ground.😒
Chips were good🤷🏿♀️

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff and hotel porters who took our luggage, we were given forms to fill in, and allowed to check-in around 1 hour before the actual check-in time which was very kind and appreciated.
The room was nice and had plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The bathroom was fully stocked with soaps, shower gels and toilet paper. Housekeeping staff would come in everyday and refresh the room and change the towels and were very kind.
My main problem with the room was the lack of Air Conditioning. We complained to reception and they sent somebody up to fix it but it still didn't work...personally I got very hot during the night and struggled to sleep.
There was a variety of food available but it would feel like the same food every night and going to the hotel restaurant just felt like a chore knowing it'd be the same. Cups weren't cleaned properly and birds and cats were always inside the restaurant. Flies would swarm around some of the food (especially the fish). Getting a bottle of water in a 4 star all inclusive resort seemed too difficult and I eventually just went to the local supermarket to buy some.
The pools were clean and we were always able to find a set of loungers.
Hotel security staff have a deal with local taxi drivers to let them rip tourists off-- do not use the taxis outside the hotel and instead download inDrive (local Uber app).
Overall It was an enjoyable experience but the air conditioning and scarcity of water knocked the score down for me as they are very important to me (especially in 37 degree heat!!)

Correct hospitality with respect for customers. The rooms are cleaned every day with all towels changed. The diversity of meals allows you not to fall into routine. Moroccan cuisine is essential...the living spaces are very clean and allow you to escape. Fram entertainers don't just perform, they serve summer visitors. The shows are of quality and a plus in terms of choreography. The center manager is constantly pleasant and available. The hotel, despite its aging, remains at the top of the establishments to recommend. A plus to the cleaning ladies for their kindness and friendliness. The only downside is the availability of the receptionist at reception and the speed of the servers at the bar.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Period! The staff were rude and not interested and all inclusive was very selective. They have a restaurant that offers burgers and paninis but needs booking 24/48 hours in advance and can only be used once during the week. Booking it took 48 hours in itself due to it being having to be booked specifically by a single person in the hotel and not just at the Helpdesk like anywhere else. I literally had to argue with the lady at the desk after being told to return in the evening and then in the morning and then later in the morning to book in for this restaurant only to be told they’re fully booked and return again in the morning. It’s almost as if they don’t want you to get a meal there. Conversely, if I were to pay for a meal there, I could just turn up every day without a booking and order a meal. Bars close at 11pm and god forbid if you’re in the queue a minute longer as you’d then be refused a drink as they’re now shut. The hotel doesn’t understand the concept of customer service and going the extra mile. The hotel room itself was a decent standard but had no working AC and a mini fridge that didn’t work. I requested for someone to come take a look everyday and after 9 nights, I left without either being fixed. I also had a toilet that wobbled when you sat on it and again, nothing was done to fix it.
I was checked in late on the day I arrived and and on my checkout, I was informed I was no longer entitled to the free bar for drinks or any lunch. If you speak Arabic or French, life will be better for you and if you’re English speaking, good luck! The staff were a mix match of friendly and rude but largely rude as a whole. How this hotel has been awarded 4 stars is beyond me. The hotel location is great and local to all the places to visit in Marrakech and the pools and slides were great although they could have done with a paint job. I’ve visited Marrakech many times before and will continue to do so but if you’re interested in visiting, avoid this hotel at all costs.
I generally don’t go out of my way to write a review and accept you get some good experiences along with some bad and that certain things are out of the control of the hotel but this hotel has left me feeling upset and angry in equal measure and if I were to save even one family or couple the car crash that is Labranda Rose, then this has been worth it!
*AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!!!*

My two girls and I stayed at Labranda Rose for one week in August. On arrival we were greeted by staff who showed us around the hotel informing us of timings for dining and other useful information. We were shown to our room on the third floor, which was lovely and clean. We did not have a balcony, however this was not an issue for us. We never experienced any problems with towels, or lack of them, maid service was spot on, we always came back to a spotless room every day. The temp was around 46 degrees for our stay and the air-conditioning was OK for our trip, although I would have liked it to have been a little cooler, however under the circumstances I felt it did a decent job. The hotel itself is pleasing on the eye and kept clean in all areas. The dining hall is well catered for all ages with a lovely selection of salads, morrocan and French dishes. We didn't experience any problems with food, it was tasty and different from most British cuisine, which was refreshing. The waiting staff were fantastic and always made sure our glasses were kept full with either wine, fizzy drinks or bottled water. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member, and as soon as they found out we were English, they spoke to us English and treated us very well. Considering my girls are 18 and 16, I didn't expect them to partake in any of the activities, however the animation team were fantastic! Tema and the team are so lovely and arrange an array of fun things to do from belly dancing to volley ball to yoga and dance routines and generally had everyone up dancing of all ages every night. Yes the songs were French, but when you go to Morroco you have to go with that expectation. We would most certainly go back to Labranda Rose, it was spot on the money for what we paid, yes there are some areas around the pool that are a little tired, however this did not limit our experience and enjoyment of Marrakech or Morroco. It's a lovely country with lovely people, made all the better for the excellent service and staff. I've seen other negative comments from other guests who just need to take a chill pill and have a little understanding for different cultures and cuisine. If you want chips and English music, go to Blackpool! Thank you Labranda Rose xxx

We have just returned home from a 4 day stay at Labranda Rose. We all agreed that we wouldn’t have been able to stay any longer here.
We had read reviews before we arrived (not before we booked!) and so we all had fairly low expectations. In the most part these low expectations were reality.
The AC is almost non existent in the whole hotel, including in communal areas. They advertise AC in the bedroom and it is simply a fan in the wall, not a AC unit. If you are going take a portable fan!
The food was very samey and not much variety. The restaurant was open for lunch from 12.30-2.30 and at 12.45 there still wasn’t food out and they had only just begun cooking. The buffet is small and one lunchtime it took us 30mins to get our food. Food replenishment was incredibly slow and unless you went when the food service begun, you would have even less choice.
Water was sometimes hard to come by, the water stations in the reception area were frequently empty. A couple of mornings water wasn’t available at breakfast and therefore we couldn’t even take it from breakfast until the bar opened at 10.
Check in was horrendous. We were stood there for over an hour and the queue in front of us didn’t seem to be getting any smaller. Our booking company said we could check in from 1am but the hotel said not until 3pm. When asked why it was taking so long, I was told to just return to the queue.
As other reviews suggest, to get a bath towel is hard work. The towel maid doesn’t seem to like giving them out and the ones you do receive are incredibly tired, rough and ripped. We paid for a 3pm check out on the final day and knew we had towels in the room, when we came up at 1.30pm the towels had gone and the towel maid refused to give us anymore until we argued.
A couple of the positives we have got, are mainly the restaurant staff, entertainment staff and a handful of the bar staff. They are very friendly (regardless of our nationality as some reviews suggest) and in particular one restaurant staff member couldn’t have done more for us during our stay, he was lovely.
This hotel is barely a 3 star. Water needs to be available at all times, the AC must be improved in the rooms, new towels are required and a restaurant manager should be either present at all food services or should be employed. These in my opinion are basics.
We enjoyed our stay of sun and relaxation but improvements need to be made.

Absolutely not. If you want me to send you more photos I can. We have asked to go back to the UK or move hotel. The photos on trip advisor must have been taken years ago as it certainly doesn’t look like this.
According to a local tour guide many of the reviews are fake.
Morocco it’s self is vibrant and worth visiting but certainly not here. Hope that helps. We are still here and trying to get home or to alternative accommodation.
