We had a large group of students and faculty. Each person seemed to have his own special need or request. Riad Assakina provided outstanding lodging. In addition, the owners were amazing hosts - answering every email promptly, arranging every detail of both our time at the Riad and our activities in the city. They made it look effortless to consider...

This Riad by far exceeded expectations. The couple who owns the hotel is personable and very familiar with the area. The rooms are modern with a moraccan flair and the breakfast doesn't disappoint. Quick walk to the Medina or a cheap taxi ride away from the newer parts of the city.

From the very first minute of entering Riad Assakina we were treated as VIP's, the welcome talk was informative, interesting and gave us the necessary information needed to see the best of Marrakech. Grant and Michelle have created a luxurious haven of taste and tranquility which is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, it was an...

This riad and it's hosts are outstanding. The riad itself is so calming and peaceful and absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail and love that has gone into its restoration and upkeep wonderful. We were in a ground floor courtyard room which was extremely comfortable and cool..and I fell in love with the bathroom! The roof terrace is a glorious...

This is a beautiful riad and the hosts, Grant and Michelle are so hospitable. The guest rooms are all uniquely decorated and comfortable. The staff is so accommodating and helpful with requests. I would highly recommend staying at the Assakina if you want to be pampered. Free wifi and breakfasts are an added plus.

They treated us like family. Every detail was perfect and they made sure we were comfortable. The Riad itself is beautiful and well located in the...

Wonderful team and a thoughtfully and tastefully-managed boutique hotel. We were beautifully looked after from start to finish and never wanted to leave. When I was ill from 'adventurous eating' in the main square, Michelle and her team could not have been more lovely and really went out of their way to help and make me as comfortable as possible.

Michelle and her team were absolutely wonderful. Michelle helped us find our way through the hustle and bustle of Morocco with insider tips and great recommendations. When my girlfriend fell ill (after drinking an orange juice watered down with tap water in the square) she did everything she could to see that she was as comfortable as possible and really...

This is not the first time we've stayed at Michele and Grant's beautiful Riad and having just returned from another trip we would urge anyone thinking of travelling to Marrakech to stay at Riad Assakina. The Riad itself is truly stunning. Like all Riads you approach it in a narrow alleyway, a door in a wall that opens up to...

Riad Assakina exceeded our expectations. From the reservation to when we left Michelle, Grant and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. Being our first time in Marrakech we didn't know what to expect but Michelle explained everything we needed to know. Anything we needed lunch, dinner reservations, hammam bookings, day trips her...
