Had a lovely short break here. Staff could not be more helpful - even drove us to an appointment at the steam baths the taxi they booked for us failed to arrive, and letting us have late check out because our flight was an evening one. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfrortable but very authentic in feel. Breakfast was large...

The service was very good. They where so helpfull when we found out that we forgot our winter coats in the other hotel, and the arranged a taxi fast and much cheaper than we would have gotten one I belive. The breakfast was delicious and the room very nice. Only bad thing is that some of the staff don't speak...

The Riad La Porte Rouge was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful; the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and very "Moroccan". I would definitely stay again. One thing to note: verify the hotel address before going--it's not easy to find although it's very close to the city...

The Staff is very attentive and always available to help. Riad well decorated and comfortable. The location is acceptable but difficult to access. I recommend it to everyone who visits Marrakech.

The staff and especially Mohamed could not have been more helpfull. The breakfast had to be seen to believed and the roof terrace was very pleasant...

We booked for a week (Sat-Sat) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Karen, the owner/manager, arranged our transfers (as we were staying for the full week) - so we were picked up at the airport by Abdul ("Ali Baba") and brought to the Riad early in the evening. We'd arranged for a meal at the Riad on our first evening and...

This is a great place. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and we were greeted with tea and snacks. We also had fruit in our room. The balcony is very nice. The only thing is that it is hard to find with a taxi. We had a taxi driver get pretty aggressive after he took...

The first thing to realise is that different maps show this riad in different locations. Unfortunately, the riad's correct location is the one further south (off Bab Hmar) - level with the southern end of the Royal Palace. As a result, the riad is very quiet but it is a long walk to the main square. The route has its...
