Very clean riad, walking distance from the center of Marrakech. If you are looking for a place where you can breathe the Moroccan atmosphere, you are in the right place In the riad wander several cats, who will brighten your stay, pampering you and making you feel at home. The superior rooms are well-kept, I suggest the superior rooms on the top floor, on the terrace, where in the evening you let yourself be lulled by the breeze. I would avoid cheap rooms, they are very small (you can not even open your suitcase). The Moroccan staff of the riad is very courteous, from the cooks to the breakfast manager whose name I do not remember, they dispense smiles when you meet them, which makes you feel well liked and fall in love with this beautiful place. I had dinner several nights on the terrace and the cuisine is simply amazing, great care in preparing the dishes and presentation. Ditto the service, run by Intissar, an extremely professional young girl and her colleague Ali equally kind and helpful. Breakfast is great, but repetitive, so improveable: those who go to Morocco expect to find local cheeses, not French industrial cheeses packaged in aluminum. Noteworthy Moroccan bread cooked for breakfast, honey, fresh local fruit and delicious orange juices. The difference in quality in Chamali is made by Imane, the true queen of Riyadh, to whom all my compliments go. With his class, kindness, helpfulness and unparalleled professionalism, he made me feel at home, making the stay very pleasant (so much so that we return after the visit to Essaouira) Super fast and efficient assistance via whatsapp for every need, provided by the owners and Mrs. Fatima, to whom I owe a thank you. Unprofessional receptionist Louisa, fortunately marginal figure in the riad. Chamali is a corner of class and tranquility in the heart of Marrakech. Don't miss it!

Honestly this Riad is so beautiful and very clean! The staff are incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, additional cost for eggs but really does make the difference. We also booked a couples massage, which was 100% worth it and a highlight of our trip.
The location of the Riad also makes it really easy to get to the main square and key sites. Would book again!

Riad Chamali, a unique experience, beyond a riad, a setting of gentleness, calm and kindness. Caring staff, always available and smiling. This riad benefits from an ideal location for visiting Marrakech on foot, close to Djema El Fna square and many places to visit. After the bustle of the city center and the souks, we found peace and quiet by the swimming pool, in a small lounge under the oranges or on the terrace. The rooms are very nicely decorated, spotless with excellent bedding overlooking the patio of orange trees or the swimming pool; Thanks again to the whole team for their kindness and smiles in all circumstances. We will come back very soon, that's a certainty. We recommend this magnificent riad, with our eyes closed, we felt at home. An exceptional experience, magical encounters. See you very very soon You are in our heart,

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Chamali. The property is charming, both the rooms and the communal spaces.
The team are incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. In particular for me, they made a real effort to cater for my diet (vegan) at breakfast etc. despite it not being commonly seen/understood in Morocco.
The location is pretty central and once you get used to the intense bustle of Marrakech it makes for a great base for sightseeing around the Medina and beyond.
On top of this, it was all very good value for money.
Cannot recommend it enough.

A worthy Riad. Perfect decoration, neat, tastefully furnished. Private rooms with separate toilets and showers. Every day your room is redone, surprises await you with decorations made with bath towels. Scents of orange blossom oil embalm you at all hours of the day. The team is very attentive, Louisa, Brahim and Ali always welcome you with a smile and are always at your disposal. And the kitchen team is great too, everything is done in the discretion but they are very attentive and always there when needed. Breakfasts are to fall on the floor! Every day you discover new specialties. The excursions offered are top, private driver, private guide for visits, everything is super well organized. We also tested the novelty of this Riad, the Hammam and Spa area. What a joy.... We made the relaxing pass well being in duo! Sheer wonder. Fatima in the Hammam works discreetly with real efficiency, and the masseuses have completely captivated us! It was magical... This is the second time we’ve been to this Riad, and it’s just the beginning of a long series 😃. A thousand thanks for everything. See you next year!

We spent 6 days as a family at Riad Chamali. We appreciated the location of our 2 rooms upstairs, the calm of the Riad and the impression of meeting few travelers even though it was full. Good bedding. Room well heated in winter. Discreet service. Thanks to Louisa who organized delicate touches for my daughter's birthday. The 20-minute walk to Jemaa El Fna Square is easy for those who like to walk. The morning breakfast is simple but fresh and consists of a variety of Moroccan breads cooked on site. We appreciated that they could organize breakfast despite our early departure. I therefore recommend Riad Chamali without hesitation and thank the entire team.

This is a very pretty Riad and location not far from the airport and walking distance to central (Medina) zone (15mins) of Marrakech and Bahia palace; 20-30mins walk to the hustle and bustle of the old Medina and big souks.
Service here was a bit hit and miss though. We stayed on 2 separate occasions in a week as a 'base' between the Atlas mountains and Marrakech. First check-in we received a warm welcome and drink. 2nd time, the management was away and the attendant staff were very slow and inefficient.
Breakfast is disappointingly basic; have to pay extra for eggs. Even had to pay extra for bottled water for each room! Buy large bottles of refrigerated water from the local small shops if weather is warm/hot!
Also, I'd advise booking the Riad's own airport transfer on arrival from the airport to this Riad (15euro), but just use local taxis once in Marrakesh to travel or head back to the airport as its much cheaper.
Get local Dhiram currency (bit at the airport) but then the rest for spending with get better exchange rates in Marrakesh itself, or you can withdraw cash from many bank machines in the Medina area. Only the top more expensive restaurants/bars will take credit card. All local shops, souks, local eateries, and taxis are cash only!
DO plan a stay in the Atlas mountains even not far from Marrakech; they are stunning if you you like some remoteness and tranquility.

My wife and I had the great idea of looking for a place to celebrate our wedding in Marrakech. Fortune wanted us to find the Riad Chamali. It was love at first sight. Just looking at the photos we sensed that it would be a wonderful and cozy place where we could celebrate our day. It has a swimming pool, patios full of light, dreamy colors, rooms full of details, impeccable kitchens, hall, terraces, camouflaged plants in each of the corridors and patios, tranquility, perfect location... Indeed, after visiting it we were not only able to confirm what we already suspected, but on top of that we had the great pleasure of meeting the family of incredible people who run it. They are a dream team, willing to do anything selflessly and with a great capacity for work.
We proposed our idea to them and their first response, far from restrictions and limitations, was a resounding yes, which made the process much easier. David, who handles this entire management section, was flexible, considerate and open-minded.
Ahmed, on the other hand, was the one who materialized all our ideas. He never had no for an answer. Everything was a "we'll try", "I'll see what I can do", "in Marrakech nothing is impossible". And indeed, nothing was. He managed to fulfill EVERYTHING we asked of him. It was amazing. In fact, they accelerated some work on the expansion of two suites so that we could enjoy them. And they got it. They are absolutely incredible. Full of details and Moroccan motifs. We 100% recommend staying in the suites if you have the opportunity.
Finally, we celebrated our wedding at the end of September for an entire weekend with the Riad Chamali booked exclusively and also at Riad 64, (very close to the first one) which they also run. All our family and friends had a great time. They were unforgettable days.
Thanks to David, Ahmed, Fátima, Luisa, Mouta, Abdou, Hamza... You are wonderful people and you deserve the best.

Riad Chamali is a real hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff and always ready to make your stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated with exquisite taste that perfectly reflects the traditional Moroccan atmosphere. The location of the riad is ideal, located in the medina but far enough away to guarantee calm and tranquility. It is the perfect place to relax after a day of discovery in this vibrant city. I highly recommend Riad Chamali to anyone looking for an authentic and warm experience.
