We had a wonderful experience staying at Riad Andallaspa (as the riad actually calls itself).
Christophe, the owner, was very efficient and informative, sending useful information by email to us before our trip, and we met him a couple of times during our short stay (2 nights). The staff have all clearly been well trained, and are multilingual (French and English at least, probably other languages as well).
We somehow scored a free upgrade from the Essalam room (which looks very nice) to the truly splendid Jawhara. For once, internet photos don't really do a room justice - they can't really convey this room in its full glory. An Arabian Nights fantasy come to life.
We had dinner the first night, a classic taghine, as well as entrées and dessert (20 euros pp), washed down with a lovely dry Meknès white wine (the only alcoholic drink we had in our 6 days in Morocco, but worth the wait). The only minor quibble here is that there was so much food...we hadn't eaten at all since breakfast, but just couldn't finish it all. Six people could have eaten our meals for two and been fully satisfied.
Location is also very good - a short walk through the teeming souks to Djema el Fnaa square, but off the main drags, so it's very quiet at night.
Finally, at least for time of our visit (early January), it is not that expensive - not cheap either, but worth every penny for the luxury you experience. A very good breakfast is served on the upstairs terrace each day, too.
Additionally, the riad can arrange transfers (15 euros/150 Dh pp) to/from the airport or train station, which saves hassling with the taxi touts. You can pay the bill in several foreign currencies (pound sterling, US$, euros) as well as dirhams; however, cash is king, using a card attracts a 6% surcharge.
Overall, it's an outstanding place, with beautiful fittings and furniture, attentive staff for whom nothing is too much trouble, lovely rooms and excellent dining. What more could one want?

Be careful when telling your driver (or when using GPS) because there are two andallas -one is Andalla Riad and the other is this, sometimes also referred to as Andallaspa. This Riad is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are all very welcoming. We stayed here recently for 2 nights, and it was the best sleep we had in Morocco. The beds are comfortable, the room temperature easily controlled, and the amenities are just what you'd want. And even though you're just a short walk from the main plaza, there are no sounds from outside once you enter the Riad.

When we arrived, the manager introduced himself and he gave us some bargaining tips and places to visit. It didn't feel like it was rehearserd, but something he genuinely enjoyed doing. Since we were checking out early, (at 6am), they even prepared for us a breakfast-to-go since their breakfast starts at 8am.

Definitely recommend this place!

Andalla Riad & Spa is the most stunning and welcoming place I have ever stayed. The architecture and decorations are so gorgeous that you never want to leave. The staff are absolutely wonderful, greeting you with Moroccan Mint tea and cookies from the moment you arrive to the day you leave. They are always eager to assist you with warm smiles on their faces.
I stayed here with my family (two parents and brother) and we chose to stay in a larger family-style room (picture included) with two floors, three beds, and a gorgeous bathroom. The decorations from the lobby spill into the rooms, maintaining an immersive luxury experience. Additionally, we received incredible full body massages. The robes and shoes are delivered to your room, and the massage room is peaceful and warm (the Argon oil is fantastic). The food was also impeccable (we had dinner multiple nights and breakfast everyday). There is a new tagine (delicious traditional Moroccan dish) prepared for your group every night that you request it along with appetizers, bread, and a dessert. The breakfast is also a wonderful way to start off your day before exploring Marrakech. Definitely ask for an omelette since they are light and delicious!
Overall, this Riad was incredible! My family made so many happy memories here, and we met countless great people. I would return in a heartbeat. It is a true gem in the craziness of Marrakech, and I highly recommend a stay here.

This place got to be my favourite hotel where all staffs treat you like you are their family. We had very bad luck, missed our flight and had the first night detour to Agadir due to limited fight from London to Marrakesh. The hotel owner, Christoff has been amazing, responded to our emails promptly and accommodated us accordingly.

Upon arrival, the hotel arranged taxi driver waited us at the coach station (recommend, because driving into the city to the hotel is rater tricky, but if you opt to drive, do let the hotel know, they glady help to guide you). The manager Younouss has given us a very warm welcome with freshly brewed mint tea and biscuits. He then gave us all very handy information about how to avoid people in the markets tried to ripped you off with money. He gave suggestion attractions to visit and even tips how to bargain with vendors in the market.

I was amazed by how this raid beautifully decorated and designed. I had to take a proper tour to take photos. Amazing for blogger and content creaters📸

The bedroom itself is spacious enough, very clean and nicely decorated. Everyday we came back hotel, all towels are replaced, bed are freshly made 😌👌🏻

We have rented a car to drive out the city to Essaouira for a day trip, the hotel staff thoughtfully offered to go on a motorbike and lead us out of the old city as the tricky alleys and Google map can be very confusing leading you to dead-end.

Last but not least, we have tried the traditional hammam and massage package at the hotel which was very relaxing after days of walking around the city.

I would really like to thank you the whole team of staffs who are so helpful, thoughful and welcoming us in this raid. The service are amazing. They really make us feel like we are staying at a home stay. If anyone ever travelling to Marrakesh, I would totally recommend here. And if I ever coming back to Marrakesh, I will see you all again 🥰 Until next time, Inshallah ❤

We wanted to stay in a Riad and get a full Moroccan experience, and that is what we got. The design of the riad and our room was creative, and colorful, and would be classed as boutique anywhere else.

We arranged an airport shuttle via the Riad, from and to the airport, and this was simple and easy.

The location is 20 minutes from the airport via the shuttle, and an 8 minute walk via 2 streets to Jemaa el-Fnaa, so ideal for walking around the centre of Marrakech.

As we arrived in the early evening we thought it would be easier to eat at the Riad on our first night so we booked this in before we arrived. We had an excellent 3 course meal for a very good price, of traditional Moroccan food. It turned out to be better than the meal we had on our 2nd night at Taj Moroccan restaurant that is currently rated 4th of all restaurants. We had another meal on our 3rd night which again was good. Breakfast was also good, with a large selection of breads, cakes, fruit, orange juice, yoghurt, omelet, tea/coffee.

All the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Attentive to a point where they provided things just before you realized you needed it.

The only area for improvement i would suggest, is in respect of the tours they could book for you. There was a binder with the tours detailed. We were interested in going to the Atlas mountains, and there were 2 options, but not a lot of detail about them. We went for the tour to the Ourika Valley. We ended up being driven by the guy who picked us up at the airport, and he was very helpful. There were several stops on the way which involved a donation or an opportunity to have someone try and sell you something. We had been told by the Riad that at the waterfalls we would need sports shoes. What we should have been told was you needed to be reasonably fit and very agile. A local guide took us up to the first waterfall which he said was a 30 minute walk. This included stopping at stalls for people to have the opportunity to sell you things, and walking up a river bed of large boulders and rock, where the agility was needed. We did see a couple of people fall, and were surprised we didn't fall. When we got to the first waterfall, it was an average looking waterfall, so like a lot of other people we decided to go back down via another route that was a bit easier, but still strenuous. The guide was helpful, and wanted paying at the end, which we hadn't been told about, and didn't have the money to pay him so it got a bit difficult. In summary if we had been told a bit more detail about the tour then we wouldn't have chosen it, and therefore not had a day that wasn't that enjoyable

We stayed in a number of Riads whilst on holiday in Morocco. (when we travel we make it a point to stay in traditional accomodations of the country. This was our last Riad, the one before returning home and was definitely the best (careful there is another Riad called Andalla, make sure you stay at Andalla Spa). The Riad is ideally situated close to the souk and main square, however it is in a quite alley. It was very safe and secure. On arrival after a long journey from another city in Morocco we were personally greeted by the owner Christophe and his staff. They made sure that we were settled down, given refreshments, and tips regarding the area, what to do and what not to do etc. We were made to feel at home as soon as we stepped into the Riad. The riad was beautiful, and our rooms (we had two superior rooms and a suite for the six of us) were very well lit, comfortable and very clean and quite. Dining at the Riad has to be adviced before hand but we knew about this and it was not a problem in those two nights we spent there. On our last morning we had to leave beofre breakfast was served but they provided us with a packed breakfast and hot coffee to help us on our outward journey. My only regret is that we did not spend more time here. Although the Riad is very close to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech I was surprised with how safe we felt here and how quite the place was. Excellent AC and wifi. Water and sweets in room, great bathroom. It was evident that the staff is used to taking care of its clients without being obtrusive. A definite must to all who want to visit Marrakech and stay in an excellent Moroccan style Riad with all the comforts needed. ON leaving, I mistakenly thought I had left something in the room. I contacted the Riad and immediately they went to search for my missing item (fortunately it was later found misplaced in my own luggage), however this 'incident' shows how attentive and caring the staff at this Riad are. A big well done and thank you for making our stay an excellent one

We have just returned from a short break to the Andalla Riad and Spa. We were a group of 4 women and stayed in Abla and Larousse which had both been set up at twin rooms for us. From the moment we were met at the airport (Christophe from the Riad arranged our transfers) we were treated like Royalty but also like family.

The Riad is less than a 10 minute walk from the main square. The breakfast is delicious, and the evening meal we had in the Riad on our first night was heavenly, and very very reasonably priced.

Christophe’s team are an absolute credit to him. Always smiling, always happy to bring drinks to us, whether it be water, mint tea or wine. When we were peckish, they popped to the pizza place down the road and brought us back pizza. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Christophe himself was wonderful.

We had the best time, and were sad to leave - our farewells to the team were full of hugs and kisses - we were saying farewell to new friends.

Thank you Christophe for making us so welcome. We will definitely be staying with you again if and when we come back to Marrakech.

No words will be fair to describe the place and people working there. Let´s start with the architecture, exquisite arabian palace, with so beautiful places to relax, to have dinner or breakfast. Rooms are all different with comfortable and nice decoration. We stayed at a family suite - Abidine its name - with two comfortable rooms, two bathrooms and small living room. But to point out and above all is the nice people working there making everything possible that your stay with them feel really like being at home. Five stars service provided by Younes, Abdul, Ahmed, Said, Aziz, Boujmaa, Abdellah, Othman, Salwa, Rhizlaine, Khadija, Samira, Samia, André & Christophe- Hope not to forget anyone because it wouldl not be fair .... dinner at the Riad Andalla is a MUST you cannot miss with typical marrocco dishes so well explained by staff.... hope to see you all soon friends at Riad Andalla Spa, thanks for your kind friendship for all of us !!!

Friendly and beautiful Riad in Marrakesh. I had an amazing long weekend at Andalla Riad and Spa the staff team made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable we will definitely return.

The food was great especially the morrocan meal on our first night. Breakfast was also filling with generous portions. The staff gave great advice about places to visit and the location is ideal to get to the markets and stalls.

Marrakesh is a lovely place obviously be careful and prepared to barter when you go to the shops as the locals will try and sell at the highest price.

My friends and i enjoyed the tour to Atlas mountains and the visit to Yves Saint Laurent museum and garden.

I had a hamman massage treatment whilst I was there. The massage was very good, the hamman could have been better. Apart from that I couldn't fault the stay. See you soon guys I will be back. I've been promoting you to friends and family already!

Hello, I hope you are well. These photos are indeed of the Riad located at Rue Tikhizrit. I see photos of the room my fiance and I stayed in, and the rooftop garden dining area is unmistakable. It was literally the best place we have ever stayed. Everyone there just wants to make sure each day you are there is the best day of your life! We plan to return!

Hello, The smoking area is on the rooftop. Kind regards Christophe

Hi there, it is only a small Riad, so only a few steps outside onto the street where smoking would be fine. The open air space on the roof is not that large that it could have a separate ‘smoking area’... but I’m not the owner... enjoy your visit, if you choose this Riad I am sure you will...

When I booked my trip through Travelocity you can send a message to the Riad. So I just was sending messages back and forth and the owner or the manager of the Riad offered to do the airport transfer to and from it was 15 euros coming and going so about 30 Euros total. And any information they gave you is concerning the address and telephone number once you email them they are really good at getting back with you
