Le Coq Fou is located about an 8 to 10 minute walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa (if you don't get lost) and the souks are a bit closer. It is also just a couple of minutes walk from a car-accesible area so that you don't have to wander too far with all of your luggage. A driver arranged by the...

The riad was beautiful, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. This riad was a perfect juxtaposition to the hustle and bustle of the streets of Marakesh, it was oasis like. The rooms were sized well, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean. My travel companion stated that her toilet was not clean upon arrival,...

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff and they took us via the small streets to the Riad. After a welcome chat we felt comfortable and relax since it is just outside the busy street next door. Enough restaurant options in the neighborhood. We did not have any dinner there but the breakfast is excellent. The room was nice,...

Le Coq Fou is a nice and quiet Riad. Our transfer was included and we were welcomed by Mohammed and after dropping us near the Riad, Youssef picked us up to lead us to the Riad which was useful because it was in the evening and you can get lost easily in Marrakech. We had booked dinner in advance for...

The terrasse is great to hang out at night, the staff is really willing to help you with booking trips or to help you with transport. The walk to the Riad was rather different, I mean small streets and definitely a difficult place to find. I would suggest booking the taxi service provided by the hotel trust me it's worth it. You don't want to get lost in Marakech, people will try to help you and if you fall for that they will then demand money....

We spent a wonderful 5 days at the riad le coq fou in November. The owners could not have been more helpful, collecting us on arrival, drawing maps so we could find our way round the medina, just outside the front door and always interested in our day and plans. The hotel was small and beautiful, we had a private...
