I stayed in this riad a couple of weeks ago with two of my friends. The riad itself is quite nice, although was very difficult to find it as located in a very small cross street. The location at the end is good, being basically in the middle of the market and within walking distance from most of the main...

This is a comfortable, clean and homely Riad right in the heart of the Medina. Despite being so central, it's location on a quiet lane behind the busier streets makes it a very peaceful place to stay. The decor of the Riad is beautiful, with its central courtyard and charming sitting rooms. In particular, I recommend this Riad for the...

Turning around the alleys that lead to the hotel is highly confusing, and you might need to pay a little urchin some money to point you in the right direction, but once you go through the door the dusty city is forgotten. The place is nicely renovated, with the rooms surrounding the central courtyard. The bathroom arrangement is quite original,...

Dar Ihssane Raid was a great, authentic experience! The facilitates were clean and nice. However, like other raids the space is small and there was not privacy between the room and the bathroom. Breakfast was served every morning and it was simple but tasty. One negative was that the WiFi was inconsistent and did not work within the hotel rooms....

This riad was hard to find (as I imagine most are). It is essential that you organize your transport here through the hotel—call the day before to arrange the taxi pick-up from the airport and the subsequent courier who will help you carry your luggage from the edge of the medina to the riad (taxis can’t enter the medina and...

The location of the property is optimal as it is central yet quiet. Breakfast was simple but also good, particularly the fresh juice every morning. The only downside to it is that it is not well insulated from noise, particularly in the early morning when everyone else is having breakfast (typical as of every riad structure anyway). Helpful in organising...

We stayed at Dar Ihssane for 4 nights in December. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us plan a couple of excursions out of Marrakech. The riad itself was very beautiful, it had a lovely common room area and a fantastic rooftop. Our room had a lot of character and was very authentic. At times it was...

This Riad is located in the middle of the souk but if you arrive late evening like we did you'd find the area to be quite deserted, not to worry, it's still safe for you to walk around! Location is about 5-7min from the square so it was nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in a...

“All rooms are good. First floor rooms can be slightly quieter because not on same level as courtyard, where meals are served. Also first floor has advantage of lovely balconies. However, do not hesitate to pick any room, just depends on how much accommodation you want, and your budget. Room with twin single beds on ground floor for special offer of 30 Euros was a complete bargain, and usually booked up, so obviously many people like it :-)”
