Riad Basma is situated in a very quiet location, two steps away from Djemaa El Fna. The entire riad decorated with traditional Moroccan details, clean rooms. Very nice hosts Decent breakfast. I highly recommend this riad

This riad with its rooms, courtyard, terrace is just lovely. We felt comfortable and also safe during our stay. The service was great and we got very helpful advices for our trips. If I would spend more time in Marrakech, I would choose the place again. Many Thanks, Michaela

We had a really great time in Marrakech, and much of that was thanks to the excellent customer service we received at the Riad Basma. The owners were extremely helpful (including changing money for us) and the trips we went on (to Essaouira and the Atlas mountains) were top-notch as well. Our room was lovely - very romantic - and... More

Due to a change of plan in our travelling schedule, the initial riad we used to stay in was fully booked and had recommended us Riad Basma instead. Before going the price was already agreed (inc. Taxes) but when it came to payment time, the lady managing the place decided otherwise and without clarifying the prices didn't include AC, which... More

Dear Houda, Thanks for your opinion. We're very sorry you had a bad experience in our hotel, as we strive to make the guest feel like at home. You paid the corresponding price for a double room with breakfast, air conditiong and city taxes (2.50e/person/night). Please note that you made the booking through a local intermediary who didn't informe you... More

Beautiful riad, with great charasmatic and clean rooms. The two ladies running it were very helpful. We had a great stay. We booked the 2 day tour to the saharah through the hotel. It was ok, but don't do it if you hate a lot of driving in one day. It took about 10 hours to get there!

I chose this place based on previous reviews and price and did not have great expectations. How wrong was I. The riad is lovely, small, charming but best of all, it was very quiet. What made our stay so special were the staff. We booked the hotels transfer from the airport and after landing in djemma el fnaa square, we were... More

I had a really great stay at Riad Basma. Run by Hasna and her sister, there is nothing they won't do to accommodate you. Organised, professional and efficient. They sorted my airport transfer and an early breakfast for me and for another couple even though it was before normal breakfast hours. It was also amazing! The food just kept coming!... More

I really loved it here. The staff were extremely friendly. Location was great right in the souks and near the main medina, but so quiet and peaceful. Rooms were gorgeous and the breakfasts were great. Wifi was fantastic. I've noticed a few people have mentioned the drain smell, I've been to Morocco before and its extremely hard to avoid this... Everything was alright. One little exception: german users, when reviewing the "final page" directly prior booking, the statements about the taxes are incorrect. As stated in the description of the Riad, those are not included in the price and have to be paid on arrival, contradictory to what you read on that summary page before booking. We can highly recommend... More
