My partner and I booked Dar Zemrane for a three night whistle stop tour of Marrakech and wanted to have a true Moroccan experience at the heart of the city rather than in the Ville Nouvelle which provides hotels like any other city. We arrived at approximately 9.30pm in a torrential downpour and were greeted at the hotel with some...

I just came back from a three night stay in this Riad. Really friendly staff and very attentive. It is a bit difficult to find, but once you do, you are OK. Area feels very safe and reasonably close to main attractions.

My husband and I booked the room for 7 nights at the beginning of June 2013. We were offered by Anass to go to the Riad by taxi, but we choose to make our own way by bus. The Riad is located in an isolated alley of Medina’s labyrinth. We couldn’t manage 100%, so we found a boy who showed...

We went to Marrakech in January, 2013 as a group of 4 white girls on a long weekend away. The riad is down a secluded alley (as is every riad in Marrakech) and after being dropped of in a taxi and pointed in the right direction, we paid a local boy 10dirham to take us to the door (lots of...

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and were not disappointed. The Riad is very peaceful and cool and the staff are friendly and helpful. It does help if you understand/speak some French as they do not speak English - we got by though and were shown places of interest on a map. The rooms are small but...

It is difficult to find and when we were there they were re-laying pipework in the area surrounding the Riad. But once you get there it is an oasis of calm. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. It was 45 degrees outside but it was still lovely and cool inside the riad. The little roof terrace is nice too....

We booked this riad for an overnight stay whilst we visited from a holiday in Agadir. The Riad is difficult to locate; we arrived on a Supratours Bus and the taxi driver dropped us at an entrance to the Medina and told us to walk down the narrow road for around 100 yards until we found it. Dar Zemrane is...
