Hostel riad Marrakech rouge was the perfect getaway after being in the crowded an shot streets of Marrakech's old town while on a recent visit. The hostel is a 5 minute walk to jemma el fna. Everyone working at the hostel were so helpful and always asking how your adventures have been going. The breakfast was well rounded and definitely...

Really enjoyed my time at riad rouge, a good location to start any trip in morocco! Wasn't a huge fan of Marrakech in general so if you get a chance definitely visit other places but riad rouge was perfect for what I needed. Ali was extremely helpful! Got very hot as we stayed in mid July so often ended up...

Myself and a couple of friends were in Morocco for 12 days and decided to centre ourselves in Marrakech. My friend booked the hostel and organised an airport transfer for us. The hostel was extremely helpful in this and our driver was there to meet us and was very friendly. When we arrived, we were treated to mint tea and...

Somehow this hostel manages to get high ratings from large numbers of people. However, I would say that this is the single worst hostel I have ever visited. The staff was rude, terse and generally uniformed. We paid for laundry, which was nearly lost (we were repeatedly told tomorrow when we asked about it). When we did get our laundry...

Authentic building, very welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our time here. Our room was in the first building and was open to the middle of the open building. While it was quite warm in the hostel, it didn't bother us too badly, especially since AC is uncommon in the area. We were greeted by Ali who gave us tea (SO...

Booked this hostel because of the stellar ratings. Was disappointed. The staff were initially friendly, but were not very professional and were a bit irritable. The location is great, but the interior of the hostel felt quite unclean (no pillow case, cat feces on the carpet...). Would not stay again. That said it is a good place to meet other...

Once found, the hostel is very conveniently located right next to the main square & in the heart of Marrakech. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, always there to help, etc. You can also book excursions from there, although we found it cheaper to book from a little shop just up the road. They served breakfast (cake!) every day...
