Together with my cousin I visited Marrakech last week (for the first time). The Riad is situated near Bab Doukkala within 15 minutes walking from the square Jemaa el Fna and about 20 minutes walk from Jardin Majorelle. When we arrived at the Riad at 10.15 am we were welcomed with Maroccan tea by Houcine, the concierge and Beja one...

Enjoyed our stay with a family of 12 including 2 babies. We felt right at home. Staff are 1st class and always there to help. Breakfast are decent. Our rooms were situated upstairs and the only downside to this is that you would need to make sure that someone is always around small children to prevent any accidents around the...

We had a delightful week at Riad Barroko where, day to day, the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. We felt very cared for by the kitchen staff who served mint tea whenever we returned. The breakfasts were good. We have, however, been disappointed since our return. On our final morning the manager volunteered to post our postcards for us,...

We really warmed to the Riad as our 5 night stay progressed. The initial issue was really down to our own ignorance in finding it. Its tucked away in the backstreets, and whilst frustrating at first, actually really adds to its charm. Whilst check in was really slow (relaxed might be a better way of looking at it) we were...

A decent stay if you are aware of the place and have read reviews before you go there. The staff are very helpful even though they don't speak much English. A fair walk from Souks, but it's not too bad. Would certainly recommend it. It's not too difficult to find either.

An ideal place for those looking to enjoy the local culture and decor that Marrakech has to offer, whilst escaping the hustle and bustle of the hectic streets. The riad was around 15 minutes walk from the main square, and a similar distance to the new town. This was perfect for our visit allowing us to visit many areas of...

The décor is very traditional - which is beautiful! The roof terrace is a must see. The pool is a little small but is fine for cooling off in It only has a few rooms so you have the opportunity to get to know the staff and other guests. Make sure someone shows you how to lock the doors (theres...

We stayed here for two nights but we would have definitely looked for another hotel if we were staying in Marrakech longer. The good : a very quiet riad. We only had one other couple staying at the same time as us, and at times we had the whole place, including the plunge pool, to ourselves. On first appearance the...

A delightful Riad with rustic charm. A very welcoming and homely feel to the Riad and the staff were excellent and very helpful. We really enjoyed being their it had a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but plentiful and always served with a smile. Also very central so very easy to get around Marrakech.

In the heart of Marrakech next to the El Fna Square, this authentic and peaceful Riad is really well located between all of the Marrakech hotspots such as the 'must see' Souk in which you can find hidden little treasures surrounded by a fantastic Maroccan atmosphere. Very friendly staff that will be happy to help with any request, carried our...
