I have travelled in many parts of the world for business and leisure and seldom been made to feel so welcome. The Riad les Orangers d'Alilia is beautiful, relaxing and full of the most delicious scents of orange blossom from the trees and spices from...More
My husband and I went to Marrakech for my birthday and stayed for 6 nights in this splendid Riad. The owner, Joelle, was an absolute gem - friendly, helpful and generous, as were her staff.
Tired after a long journey, Joelle greeted us with tea...More

It is about a 20 minute straight walk to Jenna El Fna through a relatively bustling part of the Medina and it is safe. You may run into street vendors approaching you but that is something that we didn't find intimidating. We however made sure that we didn't venture out very late into the night and kept our outings limited to just around midnight. Just exercise a little caution that a normal traveller or a non-local would. Enjoy the trip
