Visited here with friends. We got a taxi from Marrakesh which is reasonable in a group or if a local negotiates a price. Arrived at midday to a lovely mint tea and biscuit reception. Had a tajine making lesson, and a wonderful walk around the village, followed by supper and a tea competition. The rooms were comfortable and in the...

After the exotic, extremely intense Marrakesh and an exhilarating, physically demanding Atlas mountain trek, we were looking for a slower, more relaxed pace as well as a more authentic 'insider' experience of Morocco. The Berber Cultural Centre was a great choice for our family. Essentially a family immersion, we participated in Mohammad and Faiza's family life for the duration of...

I visited the Berber cultural centre whilst I was with a volunteering group just a little drive away in Marrakech as it was highly recommended by a fellow volenteer who had previously been there. It was a great experience, I felt very welcomed by Mohamed and his family; we arrived to fresh snacks and mint tea, later on in the...

Hi Aaron, thank you so much for your lovely review. It was great having your group visit, and I really hope you do come back next year to see us all (especially if it was you who won the tea-making competition! I just can't remember who won at the moment.) Regards, Mohamed

My partner and I spent one week at the Berber Cultural Centre and had a great time. Although not everyone spoke English we were still able to communicate and get along. We participated in many activities whilst at the centre including bread and tagine making, taking the donkey to the well to get water among many others. The weather was...

I had traditional breakfast at the local market, baked bread the Berber way, participated in a tea making competition, swam in the swimming pool, picked cactus fruits with the son Anir and went for walks in the village with the beautiful...

Khalid took us on many beautiful walks through the mountains and to the local market where we had breakfast under the tents on the floor...

Although my stay with Mohammed and his family was short lived, I must wholeheartedly recommend as I would love to stay longer! I felt very welcome as a part of the family and friends who were willing to share with me their knowledge of local culture, cuisine, landscape and life style in general. They have arranged for us some lovely...
