Spent the most amazing 3 days at Riad Mboja exploring Marrakech. It was very easy to organise and exceptionally cheap for the service provided. Luc owns the Riad who organised an airport transfer which was free of charge and met us to walk us to the Riad from where the taxi dropped us off. The staff were really friendly and...

We were made more than welcomed by Christophe, who speaks French only but has Google Translate available to clear misunderstandings. The rooftop terrace is higher than most around and provides an uninterrupted view of Marrakech. Outside of the inner peace of this Riad is the hustle and bustle of the busy medina centuries old markets. If you are ready for...

The riyad: This riyad has an authentic morocan and frensh design with a warm atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and clean, with all the necessary things you need. There are an air conditioner to keep you warm in the cold nights or cold in the hot season. You have free wifi access, though it works best in the lounge, and...

1. Room had no window and stank 2. Wifi does not work in rooms- advised falsely 3. Our shower head was broken 4. Riad owners will always argue in front us- very annoying 5. Owners lock door inside so you are locked out every time- why give you a key? We were locked out at 5am and had to wait...

Hello, Since June 1, 2015, I am the new manager of Mboja Riad in Marrakech. Of course, I read carefully, feedback from customers who have stayed at the Riad. My disappointment is with the height of the web, when I read you. I am sincerely sorry that you feel you are mistreated during your stay. I can not go back...

Stayed only one brief night. The owner came to find us where our taxi had dropped us off, and walked us back to the Riad. Offered to take us to the bus station to buy a ticket without hestitation, and helped get a taxi the next morning for a decent price. Really refreshing to have people in Marrakech help you...

Generally speaking you can find very few acceptable places for stay in Marrakech's medina, especially if you look for them in late evening, as happened in our case. Housing supply is rather poor, and you have to choose among bad or fairly expensive options. But 40 euros to which we managed to bring down the price, for such room as...

Be prepared for this one. We made the reservation on Booking.com asked to be picked up at the airport do no one showed up at our arrival. We took a taxi and they dropped us and left alone in the middle of the Medina neighborhood and started walking with some kid that kindly showed up and said to us he...

Mboja is a lovely little riad located conveniently and close to Djemaa el-Fna (10 minutes walk, but an easy one - forget about the maze of central Medina, here you get all attractions of the old city part with no risk of getting lost... as long as you're not super clumsy). The riad is run by a French lady -...

“If you want just a room and planning to not spend the day at the Riad- stay here for location. Otherwise, I recommend going elsewhere. Based on location and breakfast, this is a good place but don't expect the harmony and freedom to come in and out as you please.”
