I never write reviews and looking at the long list of praise on here, I am not sure how needed it is. However, this place deserves all the recognition it can get. The building is beautiful, feels authentic and you could spend your whole trip just staring at the intricately decorated rooms. All those who complained about the difficulty in...

I loved Marrakesh because you can walk through the medina, walk through a door and never know what you're going to find. Behind the door of Riad Princesse du Desert i found a beautiful courtyard with amazing mosaic pieces and carvings nonchalantly on display with plenty of lounges for you to just kick back and take it all in. The...

My family stayed here for two night and it was probably the best place I ever stayed. I never bother to write reviews, but this Riad deserves all the recognition it can get. The accommodations are amazing, the rooms are elegant, the location (in the medina of Marrakech) is perfect, but truthfully the thing that makes it so superior is...

Stayed 3 nights here, and it was wonderful. Its safe for women traveller, and the team managing the hotel (abdul, khadijah, simou and all the gang) was just wonderful and very helpful. Its not far from Djamee el Fna and the way to the riad was not confusing. I would highly recommend this place. Ps. They can also arrange your...

Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous to travel in Morocco as a solo, female traveler. After a month-long trip, my brief stay in Marrakech was the best part, and I am confident that it would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the staff at the Riad Princesse du Desert. The location of the riad...

The food (breakfast and dinner) was the best throughout our entire trip in Morocco traveling the entire country. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and they even preformed a drumming and dancing music session at night for the guests. This was impromptu and unexpected but we had an amazing time! We danced, listen to...

I have chosen this Riad because of the excellent reviews and... I totally agree with them! The Riad is very comfortable and suggestive, but the main strength are the guys who manage it. They are really professional, kind and friendly! You really have to try it!

The moment you enter this marvellous building, it just feels right. You are stunned by beautiul courtyard decorated by colourfull mosaics and sorounded by traditional balconies. Morrocan style rooms make you feel like a real princess. But most of all you are impressed by warm hospitality of the peple working there. Abdel, Simo, Mimo, Hadidja and the others have become...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times. ... more   less
