I paid about 16 pounds per night for this riad and I think it was the best 16 pounds I spent all holiday. the room was very nicely traditionally decorated and very clean and comfortable. the windows were coloured glass which when the light from the skylight came through gave a very warming and comforting glow. the location was great...

Youssef the manager was very friendly and welcoming. Our stay of three nights was very pleasant and inside the Medina, the Riad was very easy to find once you had worked your way out of the souks! We enjoyed supper one evening and the chicken tagine with lemons was very tasty. The rooms were adequate, clean and pleasantly decorated and...

If you want a typical small riad in the real Marrakech - stay here. Beautiful rooms, lovely roof terrace, great breakfast....and the best hosts. The home cooked food is excellent too:) Not for people who want the usual international hotel but we wanted to feel like we were living in the old medina for a few days.

This is an excellent small riad in an excellent location ( it is in the heart of the medina but also just 15 minutes walk from the New Town). Abdul is very helpful and sincere and will give you good advice and recommendations. If you are staying for more than a few days and expect to find the same breakfast...

We visited Marrakech for 6 days and enjoyed our stay at riad picolina. We had the room on the basic floor and you need earplugs if you don't want to be bothered by others in the morning (one breakfast table is exactly in front of the bed/window). The way to the riad is not for everyone, the streets are small,...

Rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, albeit small. The bathroom does not have a door but a SHEER curtain instead, which begs the question of why they have a curtain at all. The pipes in the bathroom, if exposed, let out a very foul odour. Breakfast was okay - I do wish they had offered a piece of fruit or...

Just back from a week at Riad Picolina. We were really pleased with our choice. Location is good, about 10/15 mins on foot to the square or 6/7 min to the Moussanine for lots of great restaurants and several of the main sights. The riad is on a quiet alleyway and we felt completely comfortable waking to and from the...

Just returned from a three day stay at Riad Picolina. Upon arriving my friend and I were taken aback at the general area we had been taken to however please don't be put off by the area it is in the Medina which has been there since 1100 so yes some of it has fallen into disrepair. It's very safe...

A top-notch, Riad with a lovely personal touch from the manager (Abdul). In a nut-shell, Abdul was super helpful with everything and made my visit to Marrakesh not only welcome, but informed and enjoyable — thank you Abdul for making my experience so brilliant!

We have not long been back in the UK and are already missing this beautiful little riad and the absolute kindness shown to us by it's manager, Abdoul. Abdoul really makes this riad special by going out of his way to help you. He couldn't have been a better host. We hope to return soon. Our holiday was incredibly beautiful...
