We had a wonderful stay at Riad IZZA. The place is exceptionally clean and decorated in a very distinctive and personalized way, which makes it truly special. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. They even allowed us to take a shower before our checkout, after spending a hot day exploring the Medina, just before heading to the airport—such a considerate gesture!
We would like to especially thank Dalila for the delightful dinner; she was very attentive and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. We stayed in the Marella room, which was spacious and beautifully designed. The riad itself is also very accessible, just a few minutes’ walk from the closest point where cars can drop you off.
During our checkout, a very nice gentleman from the staff helped us with our luggage all the way to the transfer car that took us to the airport. I highly recommend Riad IZZA and would definitely stay here again!
However, I feel it's important to mention an unfortunate incident that occurred during our dinner. There was a small misunderstanding with our order, and instead of handling it calmly, the floor manager on duty started yelling at the staff. His behavior was very unprofessional and unpleasant to witness, especially when all the other staff members were simply wonderful and doing their best to provide excellent service.
It’s a shame that such a lovely atmosphere was disrupted by this manager’s conduct. Despite this, the rest of the team was exceptional, and I want to acknowledge their efforts and kindness throughout our stay.

Magical place to stay in the medina. Really stunning interior design, the hotel is so beautiful and very recent (opened in September 2023). We had an excellent hammam and massage (the best). Breakfast was so delicious the team serving was super friendly and the food was really good. It is next to the most romantic restaurant in Marrakech Dar Yacout so perfect place to walk to. Amazing art in every part of the hotel and the rooftop and pools are really what you dream of in Marrakech. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon.

Our second stay at IZZA and it really is perfection in every way possible. We absolutely adore everything about this hotel.
The staff are all amazing, so friendly and inviting. Super helpful when we asked for ideas about where to visit. I bumped into the Managing Director who was also extremely friendly and full of advice.
Aesthetically, the interior decor of IZZA blew me away just as much as our first visit. Every little detail has been taken into consideration, you can’t fail to notice this. Interior design perfection!
The bedrooms themselves are all exquisitely designed, and very individual. We were lucky enough to stay in Christina on this occasion, with a fresh grey and white colour palette. A lovely balcony overlooks a tranquil courtyard with soothing water fountain. All the soft furnishings are stunning and the bathroom/wet room is equally gorgeous, with locally sourced luxurious toiletries. We loved the super comfortable beds with crisp soft cotton bedding. On several occasions, sweet delicious treats were left in our bedroom. They all tasted absolutely Devine. Also, the rooms were impeccably cleaned very quickly on a daily basis, with fresh towels/water left for us.
Breakfast was a delightful feast that we looked forward to each day. Delicious freshly prepared choice of traditional hot morrocan breads with selection of condiments, along with fresh pastries. The most yummy freshly squeezed orange juice, and choice of hot drinks. You can also select various hot dishes from a menu, that were all delicious. Also, the waiters/waitresses were very friendly and the service was very attentive. Hussain was especially chatty and a lovely genuine chap.
IZZA really is something extremely special, and we can’t wait to visit for a third occasion. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone staying here. Thank you very much for a most fabulous stay once again.

Nestled amidst the vibrant city of Marrakech, Izza Marrakech exudes an aura of elegance and tranquility, catering to travelers seeking a luxurious escape amidst the Moroccan charm. Our recent stay in the Grace Room surpassed our expectations, offering an impeccable blend of traditional Moroccan hospitality and modern amenities.
Stepping into the Grace Room was akin to entering a sanctuary, where every detail was meticulously curated to evoke a sense of serenity. The plush furnishings, private separate lounge + balcony created an atmosphere of unparalleled comfort and relaxation. The room's ample storage space ensured that our belongings were neatly organized. The bathroom was a true testament to Moroccan craftsmanship. The exquisitely tiled walls, the ornate brass fixtures, and the sparkling Jacuzzi bath created an oasis of indulgence, leaving us feeling pampered and refreshed.
The attentive service at Izza Marrakech was truly exceptional. Our every need was anticipated and met with a genuine desire to exceed our expectations. The staff's warm smiles and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel truly valued and appreciated - housekeeping was very neat and nowhere will you find their unique Moroccan hospitality.
Beyond its luxurious accommodations, Izza Marrakech offers a plethora of amenities to enhance our stay. The green rooftop, with its panoramic views of the city, provided a refreshing escape from the Marrakech heat. The hotel's hammam, with its traditional Moroccan steam baths and soothing ambiance, offered a revitalizing experience that left us feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The extensive art collection is a real differentiating factor, which would require a separate review! Get ready to spend time checking each piece of the Museum in The Medina, hosted at Izza.
Our culinary journey at Izza Marrakech was a symphony of flavors and aromas. The hotel's signature fusion Moroccan cuisine, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, was a feast for the senses. The attentive service and personalized recommendations from the restaurant staff ensured that every dining experience was memorable and delightful. Kudos to the chef patissier for the delicious Paris Brest, alongside daily treats left in our room - high level chocolate creations day after day!
Our stay at Izza Marrakech was an unforgettable retreat, immersing us in the rich cultural tapestry of Morocco while providing a haven of luxury and relaxation. The impeccable service, the exquisite accommodations, and the culinary delights combined to create an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come. All the best to the team as they continue developing their offering and further expand this unique project.

I would highly recommend a stay at Izza for anyone considering it. The hotel is beautiful in both its design and the artwork, and the staff go above and beyond with every request. We were upgraded to the Izza suite which is absolutely stunning and has it's own private rooftop area and pool. The room was incredibly comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was delicious each morning. We made use of the free massage that was included with the room, which was a huge bonus.
They have a really good transfer service, so travelling around Marrakech is very easy as the drivers know exactly where to take you. Remi (hotel manager) was an absolute delight and even offered to drop us off in another part of the medina as he noticed we looked a bit lost..
Although it's worth noting is that the hotel is in a very central location near the Medina so you can walk to every attraction.
All of the staff were lovely people and really did their best to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
We will definitely be returning soon.

We stayed two nights in this Riad with a group of friends. The Riad is very nice, spotless, furnished very well with great attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful, from reception, to bar, to restaurant. They were very helpful in booking transfers, printing airline tickets (mandatory in Marrakech), special thanks go to the General Manager for booking a restaurant where it seemed impossible to go. Great breakfast served a la carte on the rooftop. Great location to visit the Medina and 10 minutes by taxi from the best restaurants in the evening. Small but well-kept pool, unfortunately without a solarium area. Riad absolutely recommended!

We took a risk given the low ratings as it is a new hotel, but unfortunately their inexperience and naivety shows. Whilst a lot of attention has undoubtedly been given to the design which is indeed beautiful, the level of service left a lot to be desired.
Firstly - they do not have a liquor licence. Not a huge issue in itself but they don't bother telling you this until you arrive. So don't expect to relax of an evening with wine or gin and tonic.
Before arrival we were told that check-in would be either 12.00 or 15.00. Not exactly helpful when trying to plan your day but we made our peace with the ambiguity and arrived at 15.00. Unfortunately our room was still not ready and we had to wait for over an hour, with no apology or even a cup of tea to pass the time. First impressions matter and this was certainly not a good one.
Our booking included a 45 min free massage per adult and a one-way airport transfer. However, the hotel initially refused to honour this ,stating that it was only available to guests who book direct, despite the fact that I had written confirmation. Only when we escalated to the duty manager did they agree, but even then only one massage per room, not per person.
As we were only staying one night, my wife booked her massage for 11am on the day of checkout. Unfortunately they were running 30 mins late so once again she was left sitting and waiting. The massage did not start until 11.30 and as we had our airport transfer booked at 12.15, it had to be cut short. Yet more disappointment and certainly not the best situation to relax in!
Overall this is an expensive hotel which promises a lot but really delivers very little once you look past the facade of the design. The service is very corporate and formulaic, not personal as you expect from a Riad. Silly things are missing, such as towels for the pool, which the staff have to go hunting for each time. We came here from another Riad where we had a much better time at half the price, with far superior and more personal service.
I wish we hadn’t bothered with IZZA. There are far better options out there for much less money. Don’t waste your time on this one.

My boyfriend and I were meticulously attended to at this intimate hotel. The morning breakfast, which was included in the stay, reached the caliber of a top-notch brunch restaurant. The lunch we had there for convenience turned out to be one of the most memorable meals we enjoyed in Marrakech.
Our room was also very comfortable, with impeccable room service. We had complementary treats and desserts left in our room every day. They also allowed us to return to the room to take a shower in the afternoon even after we had checked out.
Last thing to note is that the hotel has a very central location near Medina and we walked to every attraction. The property was a quiet, peaceful haven amidst the crowded, bustling streets that surrounds the hotel.
Would definitely return again on future stays

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved this hotel. It was an oasis of calm after hectic days seeing the sights of Marrakech! The rooms are beautiful and calm and there are so many spots around the hotel to sit down and have a rest. We loved the library and the rooftop bar/restaurant. We had dinner there on our first night and lunch again before we left. The food in Noujoum is amazing and we’ve recommended it to others travelling to Marrakech soon. Breakfast was a delicious experience with a selection across three courses including a range of hot and cold options. The staff were fantastically attentive and couldn’t have done any more for us, including organising our transfers to and from the airport and meeting us to help us with our luggage at the point where a car could go no further in the medina streets (a very small distance). It was lovely also that the manager personally introduced himself and asked about our stay. This is a hotel which should be very proud of its customer service and what it has to offer. Highly, highly recommended as the place to stay in the medina in Marrakech!

It was outstanding. The attention to detail was first class. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Very clean and the staff were very professional, discrete and very polite. It has been refurbished in the most stylish of fabrics and the walls are hung with interesting pieces. It is well sited and a perfect base to plate the Medina from.
