The Ibis Marrakech Centre Gare offers a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, according to some guests, though others suggest it could benefit from refurbishment. While the hotel's central location near the train station garners praise, opinions on value are split, with commendations for affordability but critiques on cleanliness and room amenities. Service is generally well-regarded, with the staff described as friendly and helpful, but not without some organizational hiccups.
The rooms themselves receive mixed reviews for size and comfort versus maintenance and cleanliness issues. Amenities like the pool and gardens are appreciated, yet room provisions and breakfast options are noted as basic.

Lovely small hotel in the centre in Marrakech. Very friendly staff, I had a lovely 8 days with my daughter. The hotel downstairs is very nice and modern renovated. The garden is pretty! You can’t believe you have such a green, gorgeous garden with pool while you are in the centre with train and busses and quite some noise around the corner. It makes it perfect because you can relax at the hotel but at the same time you are in the centre and go for a walk (or take a taxi) for many things to see in the centre (for example the Macma museum, Jardin Majorelle or the Djemaa el fna square) . It is also very near the airport or for excursions. (Please visit Ouzoud!) Supermarket or Starbucks just around the corner. The breakfast is small but good enough to have a good breakfast. They refill bread and things every 10 minutes. It’s always fresh and very well made. The room we had was old, if they renovate the older rooms the hotel would be perfect. The room was small, the closet space needed some thinking. Even though the room was on the street side, we did not hear any noise because the glass is well isolated. (And we like to look outside and see the busy city life.) Also have to say that the beds are very good, we had a excellent rest every day! Would recommend this hotel if you look for a nice hotel in the centre of Marrakech. :)

This Ibis hotel is ideally placed for travelers, right next to the train station and a short flight from the airport. The staff is welcoming, always available to help you. I really like the decor, simple, cozy and relaxing. I enjoyed the breakfast. Advice, think about earplugs in order to sleep well, the incivility of customers in the corridors at night should be noted and the hotel cannot be responsible for this. Good manners... Ditto for the noise from the street at night, it's the advantage of having a hotel well located in the center.

I've enjoyed my stay… Very attentive and welcoming staff (without forgetting a smile) Especially Ayoub whom I thank infinitely for his patience and his professionalism, bravo for the welcome :) On the other hand, I did not understand why there are no French and even Moroccan channels on TV, despite the intervention of the technician twice who confirmed to me that there is only 2M and the MBC channels. , while a hotel could have helped out with IPTV or a subscription with IAM, because nowadays everything is accessible with the internet. The swimming pool has deteriorated compared to previous years because I am a customer of more than 20 years who knew people who retired like Khalil from reception and hadj Bourhim lah i 7fadhoum it was really beautiful a time when everything was almost perfect Today neither the water in the pool nor the garden is maintained + the toilet/shower on the pool side is very dirty, unfortunately and it's a shame because this hotel has potential, we just need to resume the maintenance of the lawn and the treatment of the water from the swimming pool and the smell around 4 p.m. from the manholes which evacuate the sewers on the garden side which smells bad :( In any case, make sure to use the values of a chain which is part of the Accor group, I want to find my points of reference from before which represents the image of Ibis

After EasyJet cancelled my flight and we’re going to give me a none disabled friendly hotel I chose a hotel chain I use regularly as they are both lgbt and disabled friendly . Comfortable room that suited my needs as a disabled person and a great breakfast next morning Only downside was a grumpy elderly British person who did not like the hotel pet puss cat . Hotel puss cat was lovely but the elderly British person was not as try to avoid such people when I travel Room 326 was massive, huge television with an English language movie channel disabled friendly shower and bathroom and a comfy bed This hotel is ideal for Marrakesh airport and exploring the city with the train station next door there is a night sleeper train service to Tangier which is cheap and comfortable Great hotel and great deal all round .

The ibis Marrakech hotel was an excellent option for my stay in this beautiful city. Located close to the medina and the main tourist attractions, the hotel offers easy access to emblematic sites like Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Majorelle Garden and the souks, while being a haven of tranquility after a day of sightseeing.
The welcome at the Ibis Marrakech hotel was warm and professional. The staff were very courteous and always ready to help, whether for advice on local attractions or for specific requests regarding my room. Check-in was quick, which allowed me to start my stay without wasting time.
The room was simple, but very functional and comfortable, with modern amenities such as a spacious bed, flat screen TV, as well as a clean and well maintained bathroom. The atmosphere was calm, which allowed to rest in peace. Air conditioning was also very popular, especially in summer, when temperatures in Marrakech can be high.
The breakfast offered by the hotel was a real highlight. It consisted of a varied buffet with fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, pancakes and hot drinks, offering an excellent start to the day. The staff in the room were always smiling and available, which made this moment even more enjoyable.
The hotel also has an outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. The outdoor setting is nice, and the pool offers a nice escape from the noise of the city.
In short, the ibis Marrakech combines comfort, quality service and convenient location. It is a wise choice for travelers looking for a reliable and affordable place to stay in Marrakech. I recommend it without hesitation to those visiting the city.

The food is lovely, I would Recommend a bigger range of hot foods.
The service was peaceful and polite, staff are very positive and friendly always happy to help and assist.
The rooms could use some maintenance, and more bathroom essentials as we had to keep asking the cleaners for more toilet rolls and also more towels.

He only has IBIs and no. We do not find the ibis codes that we know very well to only travel in these hotels even in Tokyo. To begin with, the manager calls you in the hall by calling you by your first name even though she hasn't even introduced herself... Then they phone you in the room so that you can come and pay the bill even though you don't have still slept... We inform you that you have to pay for the meals as soon as they are finished because customers are leaving without paying!!!!! Normally we sleep, we consume and at the end of your stay you pay the bill according to the strains you have filled in each day... There, we give the impression that everyone manages their business in their own corner. This is not serious. The catering is more than limited. But where has the exemplary service of the Ibis gone? Cleanliness let's not talk about it...

I travel to Marrakech each month and never have had any problem, just take care with pick pockets, but as any other city around de world, Barcelona, Madrid, London, etc.
I always left my passport at hotel room and take a copy in my bag.
Taxi from airport to the hotel around 15€
Taxi moving on by the city center 2€
Hotel ibis is a good option, good ubication at center.
A good breakfast full self service.
Marrakech is a very special place, different of any other in the world, I suggest you to enjoy with open mind.
Dear M.
The airport is not far from the hotel. Taxis are easy. There are enough in front of the airport. Ask to put on the meter. To the hotel is it approx. 5-7 km. (price you can find or in the airport, or ask beforehand). It can be between 5 - 10 €. I don't know exactly because we were with our own car.
The hotel is easy to find, just near the train station.
Sincerely,
Hilde VQ
