This was my second visit to Hotel Ali, the first being twelve years ago. It is in a great location on the edge of the Djemaa el fna square and across from the Katoubia mosque. Yes it is a budget hotel but the room (206) was more than adequate. Our room had a large balcony that overlooked Katoubia and some...

I have taken groups to Hotel Ali several times and it is an ideal location for exploring Marrakech. Close to two money exchanges, great location for the medina and souks, ideal roof top terrace and comfortable rooms. Great to see a lift installed this time, much easier to get luggage to rooms now.

I stayed here with a study abroad group that visited Morocco. While the hotel has a wonderful location next to the market, strong free wifi, and money exchange with no attached fees, I probably wouldn't stay here again. The rooms weren't very clean- one of the girls on the trip had cockroaches and another girl had a room reeking of...

This is a great place to stay with family. The staff are great and the owners treat you very well, unlike the rest of Marrakesh. The advantage of the location is that they have the best exchange rates and you will need to take barely any taxis. If you are Muslim and need to pray, they hold 5 congregational prayers...

The hotel is in a very good location, few steps away from main medina. The room size were ok. We were three people, the room had four beds but the bad thing was, there were no heating in the room at all. We were three people in room. We were so cold and freezing we all had to sleep with...

We stayed here for two nights in late December, 2015. Our tour operator booked us into the Hotel Ali and we loved it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and came with roof-top terraces overlooking the street. We were right next to the park and the square. Breakfast comes with the room and is available at the cafe right next to...

I stopped here twice as part of an organised tour. I will not stay here again. My room was on the terrace. Very noisy airconditioning. The room was dirty. Sheets had been used. No towels. Dubious shower which flooded the room. Breakfast was covered in wasps. On my return visit I was twice given the keys to another guest's room....

We stayed here around 11-12 sept Pro: Location is good. Contra: Rooms are smelly, no windows to the bathroom or at the room itself. The sheets for the bed were not clean and also smelly. Breakfast was also not good at all, for example eggs were a bit old. The next days we suffered from food poisoning. We slept because...

I arrived at the hotel and was politely greeted by the receptionist who gave me the keys and told me where to go. This is a 3* hotel so don’t expect anything better. The furniture are a bit tired and is in need of an upgrade. The room/bathroom were clean. The A/C works but you have to ask the receptionist...
