Not so close but not so far from the city center (2 kilometers from Jemaa el Fna, 500 meters from the railway station), Hotel Agdal is a nice place to stay if you are not looking for a 4* all-inclusive experience. The pool is nice and you can have a bath even in the middle of the night. This is...

Stayed at Agdal for a week with friends, we had 3 single rooms. My room had near all day sunny balcony overlooking the pool, it was perfect for my needs. Check in was easy and we got free access to safe in reception, porter took luggage to room even though it was only 11am so well before official check in...

Bad thing: No variety for Breakfast. No WiFi in rooms only in the reception. Good things: Clean rooms and a good choice for a short trip where you need just a shelter to sleep in Marrakech. Good location

A number of reviewers have been very critical of this hotel BUT I could find little to support their criticisms. It is true the hotel is old and a bit shabby. The bed linen was gray rather than white and had a few holes in ( same with the towels). The hot water took a few minutes to arrive .so...

There is one thing to understand when talking about Moroccan hotels - even if they got two or three stars it won't be the same as equivalent of a European hotel.
