We booked the place via booking.com during the cop22 in Marrakech. We went there and taxi driver couldn't find the place (we later learn that's normal and you always need to have a phone and be assertive so they don't leave you somewhere). After calling the place we were relocated to Riad Dubai. That was relatively close. It was not...

We booked the Dar Dubai purely on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews, we didn't expect much given the price, but our expectations were definitely exceeded. Our room was functional & clean, (ours had air conditioning) with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is again functional& clean towels provided. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Breakfast is the...

We stayed here for 10 nights during our visit to Marrakech, Abdul one of the hotel staff was very polite, welcoming and informative of the location and sites to see in the area. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and it was no trouble to have it on the roof top over looking the city (although the view wasn't...

1 - don't let the Dubai name fool you into believing it's good = it's the worst holiday I've had, PLEASE SEE BELOW 2 - the hotel was down dodgy alleys in a pokey corner with a broken buzzer outside, to get to the door you had to go down a step after being careful NOT to bang you're head...

We booked Riad Dubai and if these reviews are to be believed we were not alone in finding ourselves at the Dar Dubai. I wonder if it actually exists. We have enjoyed the stay and have some thoughts. On the positive side: 1. Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. 2. Good bed. Very comfy. 3. Great location, possibly not for...

We booked into the Dar Dubai thinking it was a hotel with lots of facilities, it isn't. When we first got there our 1st impression was to run and find somewhere else. Thankfully we didn't. Although the Riad is run down and in need of overhaul (bits of plaster falling off, threadbare carpets and typically dodgy electrics) it turned out...

I stayed in this Riad for a couple of nights during half term in February. It was a little difficult to find and I had to call Karim (manager) who kindly came to meet me and show me the way. The rooms were basic but very clean and the shower - power shower and hot!! Breakfast was great and Karim...

Booked three nights at Riad Dubai only to find it appeared to be closed up when the taxi driver led us there in the evening. After a series of mobile phone calls we got back in the taxi and ended up at the Dar Dubai without any explanation . The entrance was somewhat grim and the room in the poor artificial...

Probably we would be more happy with hotel, if it will our choise. The main problem is travel agency Tour Center, who do not comunicate with own customers in proper way. We were supposed to stay in other hotel, but when we arrived they did not had a room, so they moved us here. It is only 5-10 mins walk...

When you get used to Marrakech and the Kasbah surroundings, you won't have any difficulty finding the riad, but for the first time, I would suggest you do as we did and organise a taxi to collect you from the airport and take you there. We didn't know that the riad can organise this for you and we spent £20...

“Occasional problems with hot water or air condicioning might occur - remember it is a developing country - but the staff was always there to manage things when something happened. It is great for a big family to rent the entire riad (5 double bedrooms). All rooms are different and vary from regular to one big suite with fireplace and a lounge area - the best one!”

“The toilet cistern is very slow to fill in this room, but there is a 'personal cleansing' hose attached to it, so we used this to fill the cistern. There is also a fridge.”
