A wonderful Riad, better than I could have imagined by far. The people who work at this hotel are smiling, helpful, kind - They really couldnt do enough. I am so disappointed I forgot their names, as they really do deserve a mention. The only lock I could see in this hotel is the one on the main door -... More

Dar Mouassine is a Riad in the old Medina in which we stayed for 3 nights. Positives: * generally excellent standards * friendly staff, with good knowledge what things really cost ! (taxi etc) * good location in the old Medina * high quality portioned breakfast (not a buffet) Negatives: It is difficult to find faults as it is an... More

Riad Dar Mouassine was a lovely riad boasting a beautiful roof top garden with plenty of little spots for sitting and relaxing and sunbathing if you like. Also a nice little plunge pool to cool off in. The day starts with a nice breakfast served on the rooftop terrace by a lovely lady, sorry I forget her name but she... More

A really wonderful place, full of character and charm. It's a little hard to find at first, but soon you will relish the experience of staying in the heart of the medina in a surprisingly calm and quiet oasis. We arrived late in the evening and were met at the door by Abdou, who, with Fatima, looked after us well... More

A friend of mine booked this riad on the recommendation of a mutual friend. This was my first visit to Morocco and it started off with the discovery I had left my wallet with money and credit cards in France. Awkward, arriving thus at midnight. Luckily, we had arranged with Dar Mouassine to be picked up and then escourted through... More

We love this Riad, with it's helpful staff and lovelyi roof garden. The courtyard with it's black and white tile and huge green plants, is serene and lovely. Dinner is available and any location is possible, so we had breakfast at a table in the courtyard, at a table outside our room. This riad is convenient to everything, and a... More

This was mine and my girlfriends first trip to Marrakech and our second riad. Dar Mouassine is in an excellent location, just down the street from the souks and not far at all from Jemma El Fna (the main square). The courtyard of the riad it quaint and well maintained, as is the roof top terrace, with plenty of seating,... More

The Marrakesh Medina is a magical and wonderful place, and the location here is wonderful. You'll walk through the souks on your way to the Djemma el Fna and find yourself mesmerized. The riad is small and lovely and the staff is friendly and usually smiling. However, I do not speak French and communication was a challenge. I had booked... More

I have been to marrakech 6 times and dar mouassine has to be my favourite place to stay. I stayed in suite cardamone which was truly wonderful with beautiful carved ceiling. The room spacious, the breakfasts lovely and the location brilliant. The whole of the riad is very clean and the staff can't do enough to help you and are... More

For my 4th trip to Marrakech in the last 12 months, I came with my girlfriend to Dar Mouassine. In an incredibly competitive market like Marrakech with literally hundreds of outstanding places to stay, one does end up comparing riads on increasingly demanding criteria, so at risk of being a little anal here goes... Location is great - 5 mins... More
