We stayed at Dar el Souk for 5 nights in November. What a wonderful find! Friendly staff and gracious owner. Located less than a 10 minute walk to the center of the medina, the riad was a quiet and serene place to escape from all the busy going's on in Marrakesh. They also had beer and wine available, something rather hard to come by in the medina. We really loved our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone planning to stay within the walls of the city.
Staff are so welcoming and helpful, explained to us all the best places to go and see and booked a camel ride experience through them. Also organised our taxi transfer to and from the airport. The Riad is in the heart of the city, so close to the main square and souks. Rooms are very traditional and beautiful. Nice hot shower in our room. Breakfast was amazing every morning, with a selection of different food; cake, bread, pancake, eggs, fruit, orange juice, tea and coffee. Perfect. Thanks so much for a brilliant stay!
We have recently visited Marrakech and picked this riad for our accommodation. Beautifully decorated, very clean, in the heart of the city, beautiful food and the staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They made sure our stay was a great experience and surely it was. 100% recommended.
My wife and I stayed at Dar el Souk for 4 nights. The owner Madeline (Madi) and Manager Abdulla were wonderful hosts and nothing was any trouble from organising our pick up and drop off taxi at Marrakech airport to booking tables at restaurants. Location is perfectly placed inside the Medina and only 5-10 walk to Jemma el Fna square. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and service was warm, friendly with a smile. After the noise, hustle and bustle of the souks and alleyways the oasis of Dar el Souk is a welcome sanctuary with beautiful rooms and unbelievably quiet for a great nights sleep. If you're considering a stay in the Medina, you can't go wrong with Far el Souk.
I stayed here for 4 nights with 2 friends. The location is great, minutes away from the main square and Mellah (Jewish Quarter) which was our favourite area. We received a warm welcome by Fatima and Abdul. Abdul gave us lots of information and he clearly loves Marrakech. Breakfast is various types of bread, pancakes and cakes served with butter, jam, honey and orange juice wherever you like (in the salon, court yard or roof terrace). Alcohol is served in this Riad at a very reasonable price (12 EUR for a bottle of wine when most restaurants charge 20 EUR per bottle). The airport transfers were good. The room was spacious, with 4 single beds which were very comfortable. The shower was good and clean towels every day. Free WIFI is available, though not very fast. We very much enjoyed our stay and I would recommend.

I agree that the owners and managers were so accomodating and are very good at responding to queries via email so give it a go. We had drinks and snacks almost nightly. We had two dinners there which were delicious and the breakfasts were wonderful. Email them your dietary requirements etc and I am sure they will be able to let you know what they can do.
