We stayed at the Clementine for 4 nights in November and we were blown away! Welcomed with mint tea, birdsong and fountains; the building and room are beautiful and the food was excellent with home made jams and cakes everyday. The transfers and excursions were organised and tailored to suit us and our budget without any hesitation or fuss and...

I loved this place, which was our home away from home for a week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We were welcomed with mint tea, given a map and shown to a beautiful room; We dined at the hotel once and the venue was very romantic; Breakfast, although not to everyone's taste, was more than adequate and set us...

My boyfriend and I have just got back from a 4 day stay at this Riad. From start to finish it was a fantastic place to stay. Ahmed kindly met us from our taxi and as soon as the door to the riad opened it was like escaping to a little piece of paradise. The rooms and riad are immaculately...

We had researched dozens of reviews and blogs on where to stay in Marrakech and our heads were spinning with all the riad options. We asked our friends on Facebook if they had suggestions and someone recommended Riad Clementine. The riad is an oasis of calm on the edge of the medina - away from all the hustle and bustle...

We stayed at Riad Clementine for a total of 4 nights in December. The Riad is a breath of fresh air from the busy streets of Marrakech. You immediately feel a sense of calm as soon as you walk through the door. Lovely courtyard area with the requisite fountain and fruit trees, gorgeous common rooms and a benefit for us...

Lovely riad that feels authentically decorated. Good food. Good staff. You won't be disappointed. Our room had a luxurious sunken bathtub, a fireplace. My wife is an architect and she thought it was perfect, as did her friend a landscape architect. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked great.

We booked the room on the same level as the pool on the far end as you go up the stairs. The room was very spacious, clean and had a large bathroom. This was the second riad we stayed in and opted to stay on the outskirts of the square as the first place we were right next to the...

This riad was absolute heaven - off a little alleyway, through a door into a shady garden. Luxurious rooms with extra thoughtful touches. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, lovely breakfast, friendly staff and a swimming pool you cannot fault this riad. 25 minute walk to main square.

Marrakech is a city of contrasts and Riad Clementine is a cool, clean, luxurious oasis in the heart of the dry, hot, dusty medina. We spent a week and a half here and were so happy that we chose this particular riad. Everything was easy and well organised which was a contrast to the service in most other places in...

Thank you so much to the entire family in the riad for this amazing experience. If we go back to marrakech, there is no other place i would rather be. Service was a mix of 5 star and my own home. Very confortable, cosy, with taste. Congratulations on the achievement, and hope to see you again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad History The house was built in the eighteenth century, in 1880, a hundred meters inside the ocher walls of the twelfth century, in the famous and lively Bab Doukkala. The house has always been inhabited by the family El Belaidi, which gave it the name of Riad El Belaidi. Acquired in 1999, the building was restored in the traditional Moroccan architecture, with the standards of modern hospitality. To preserve the original architecture, including the large traditional patio with glowing light, the pool was built in the 1st floor terrace. “i was on the second floor right next to the pool, i would reccomend this as when your lounging by the pool u can jst grab something from your room, however any room would not have had a distance issue from the pool, this was just particularly great!”
