We had a really outstanding week at Dar Attajmil. Everything there is just simple but authentic and beautifully chosen and cared for. The hospitality was outstanding, with competent, kind and passionate staff. More than outstanding also the super breakfast on the roof terrace and the super dinners (a real discovery of Morocco's cuisine!) next to te fireplace. Only a few...

We stayed here for 3 nights in early September and were delighted with our choice. I searched online for ages for the 'perfect' riad (that didn't cost the earth) and felt a bit overwhelmed by the choice. We certainly weren't disappointed by Dar Attajmil, and would stay here again if we return to Marrakech. The riad was an oasis of...

We stayed here as a family, occupying 3 of the 4 rooms of this beautiful riad for a birthday celebration. The decor is gorgeous; tasteful, traditional and luxurious. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home, and almost 2 weeks later we are all still missing Ibrahim and his lovely smile at breakfast time on the...

We spent 4 nights at Riad Dar Attajmil what a joy. The staff make this a true gem and could not have done more, we were shown 5 star friendly, attentive, personal service. Lovely and peaceful the riad is centrally located but feels a million miles away from the hustle & bustle of old town Marrakesh. Do try dining in...

Dar Attajmil is an oasis of peace & tranquility; it is an intimate, lovely, authentic riad. You step into a courtyard of green stillness & tinkling water. Ibrahim & Hassan welcome you with warmth & gracious hospitality; they are always there to help in whatever way they can to make your stay memorable. The rooftop terrace is a gorgeous place...

Our family (6 of us) stayed at Dar Attajmil for 5 days in June 2014 and we had the most wonderful time during our stay. The place is clean, comfortable, spacious, peaceful and beautifully decorated. It is also very well located. But the best part is the staff - they are very friendly and extremely helpful in every aspect.

Dar Attajmil is a superb example of how a Moroccan riad should be run. Lost count of how many times we have stayed but this year's visit was a wonderful reminder of how thoroughly enjoyable the hostess and staff make each and every guest feel. Feel the warmth, relax and spoil yourself.

We have taken part in a few cooking classes and it has always been a great experience. Cooking in Riad Attajmil was quite different but it was very special for us. First, we were welcome with mint tea. Then we went for a shopping tour in the market. We bought everything that we needed for the dishes. We cooked in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming Riad right in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location, central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala. ... more   less
