The riad is beautiful with lovely areas to sit and relax. Pierre and his staff were welcoming, without being intrusive, and very helpful with booking restaurants, trips, airport transfer etc. We only had lunch in the riad, but it was very good and reasonably priced. Our room was very attractive and spacious. This riad looked good in the photos: upon...

Once you step inside the Riad you feel very much at home. You’re welcomed by the genuine friendly owner and his Moroccan personnel. Checking in you don’t fill out forms but are invited to drink tea instead. You soon find your way through the narrow streets that lead to the Riad meanwhile discovering the way the real habitats from Marakkech...

From my first contact with the Riad Alma, I was impressed with their customer service. My husband and I and our friends had a last minute change in plans, and when we called to see if it was possible to move our reservation to a different night, the Riad rebooked us with no hassle at all (lucky for us, they...

I booked to stay at Riad Alma as a surprise 40th Birthday present for my partner. We were both pretty tired and in need of a complete break, our stay with Marcheline and Pierre did not disappoint! The riad offers complete relaxation and tranquility, a place to really unwind and relax! Marrakech is slightly bonkers although fantastic fun, however you...

Highly recommend Riad Alma - we were delighted to return again after our first visit in Dec 2007. This fabulous riad is an oasis of tranquility in the wonderful craziness that is Marrakesh. The atmosphere is completely relaxed and we felt like welcomed guests at owners Pierre & Micheline's home. We think it is about the most stylish place we...

We went to Marrakech to celebrate my Mum's 75th birthday (5 adults) and stayed at Riad Alma upon the recommendation of a friend. We could not have been made more welcome by Pierre & the staff. On the birthday morning, they even allowed us to decorate the breakfast table with balloons, banners & table confetti (we were the only people...

Riad Alama is located in the Kasbah area not far from the Royal Palace. I had no problem walking on my own to Jemma El Fna during the day. It is about a 20 min walk. Riad Alma is ABSOLUTELY a treasure of beauty and tranquilty in a very hectic city! The rooms & the entire riad are clean, comfortable,...

Riad Alma is an excellent Riad. My girfriend and I had a great time in Marrakesh. The Riad is in the Old Town off the beaten track so it's lovely and quiet. If you're expecting to be next door to the main square, think again, this is a lovely quite sophisticated French owned/lived in Riad in a tucked away part...

We booked our visit through HIP Marrakech but the rooms did not corresponde to the one of the web site. We were met at the airport and taken to the riad. On arrival we were concerned about the area for female travellers as it is quite a way from the main square if walking in the evening and is down...

This Riad is lovely in terms of decor and standard of the rooms etc. However, we were told by Hip Marrakech that we would be picked up at the airport which we weren't so we had to arrange our own taxi...fine for us, but guess some people would be a bit phased by this. The owners weren't even vaguely apologetic...
