What a little gem this place is. We had a few Riad’s booked for our trip, including Dar Najat. Dar Najat was our favourite based on pictures and the brilliant reviews it gets, hence why we stayed here over the others. Now i’ve visited, I fully appreciate why the reviews are so good and why so many people have previously left good reviews.
Firstly the staff are second to none, their hospitality is outstanding. The welcome we got was brilliant, meeting Ahmed on arrival, he took our bags and got us a freshly squeezed fruit juice and started telling us about the city, where to eat, where to visit, etc. He said this place is your home, so treat it like that. All the staff were fantastic. Rooms cleaned everyday, towels changed everyday, new towel art daily too. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming in the Riad.
The rooms are great, our room had a double 4 poster bed, private facilities and air con, as well as all the other things you’d expect a room to have.
Breakfast was also a show stopper. Freshly squeezed juices every morning, moroccan teas and coffee, followed by fresh eggs, pastries, bread, waffles/pancakes etc with honey, jams, chocolate spreads. It was lovely as every day it was slightly different, which was nice, all served on the rooftop near to a plunge/splash pool.
When checking in, our room was ready on our arrival, and when checking out, we were able to keep our room, until late afternoon, not long before we needed to leave for our flight. On your return you have to have paper boarding passes to enter Marrakech airport (they dont accept mobile boarding passes) and they let us use the Riads printer for our boarding passes, saving us last minute stress!
I’d highly recommend this Riad and would stay here again with pleasure. 5 star in every aspect.

Best of all is the kindness of all the staff. They are waiting for any request, from printing the Boarding Pass (Mandatory to leave Morocco), to managing the purchase and installation of a SIM card at prices infinitely better than at the airport (€2 with 6GB of data). We had the most wonderful stay at this riad, and it was truly made special by the incredible staff. Hajiba is a gem—her care and attention to detail are unmatched. She kept our room spotless and added such thoughtful, artistic touches that made coming back to the riad a joy every day. Her breakfasts were simply outstanding, a perfect start to our mornings with fresh, delicious dishes made with love.
Aissam was equally amazing—always kind, cheerful, and full of great recommendations. He served breakfast with such warmth and charm and made us feel so welcome. His tips for exploring the area were spot on and added so much to our trip.
The riad itself is nice and quiet, but it’s really the people like Hajiba and Aissam who make it a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Dar Najat is an oasis of calm and relaxation in midst the hectic heart of Marrakech. The location is superb and you can run around in the souks but you're never far away from your happy place - which for me was the Dar Najat. Everyone who works there has made it their mission to make your day special. I was stressed out when I finally arrived as the passport control at the airport had required a two hour wait, but I felt instantly better at my new home away from home in Marrakech. I have never come across a place where they even have a simcard waiting for you so you're connected when you start exploring the city. The breakfast is lovely and you're very flexible chosing a time that suits you. On my departure day I had to leave early so they gave me an entire coffee machine and fruits and snacks so I was ready to go refreshed on the next part of my journey. The accommodation itself is quiet, with efficient air conditioning and lovely, thoughtful decor. The beds mattress is on the harder side of the spectrum which suited me.. I loved the attention to detail and the commitment to service from all staff members - e.g. every day they decorated my bed with the towels differently and they paid attention to what I liked. They were also just great people - I loved chatting with the owner who felt like a friend I just hadn't met before. The kitchen staff were also lovely and always made me smile with their great sense of humour.. The tour I did upon recommendation was fun and I recommend to others to go to the Berber market for a truly local, non-touristy experience. Thanks for an amazing time! Hope we meet again! The only bad thing and this is my fault: I should have stayed longer and do more of their recommended tours!

Nice place to stay. Once you enter feels totally different from the outside. Coolest, with pleasant aromas and beautifully decorated, you feel calm and relaxed. Conveniently located not near, not far from the center of the Medina (10-15 minutes low paced walk) is perfect to spend a calming night after a busy and overwhelming day. The room has a decent size, air conditioner and comfy bed; and the bathroom is modern, very clean with a shower that has hot water with a good steady pressure. Fresh linens and towels changed daily. Enjoyed a lot the nice delicious breakfast in the upper terrace in the cool mornings. My warm regards to the welcoming and attentive staff Amine, Ahmed, Aissany and Hajiba. I recommend book transfer from the airport. Fuad waited for us, gave us a lot of information on the way to the Riad and helped us with our baggage.

A stay of 10. I do not usually write many reviews, only when the stay has been exceptional and this has been the case. Everything has been perfect, from accommodation to staff. The Riad is magnificent, with a decoration that fully immerses you in Moroccan culture, inside you live a unique and authentic experience. Perfect location, and although it is in the heart of Medina, it is very quiet. Breakfast of kings, very complete and varied, only with that breakfast you start the day well.
And what above all makes the difference is the staff of the Riad, everyone makes you feel at home, very human and attentive to every detail. On the day of arrival our flight was delayed and we arrived very late but they made everything easy for us, they even made us tea as soon as we arrived. If we needed something right away they made it easy, super friendly and charming, exquisite treatment, of what make the difference.
We were recommended very good places (good value local food), accompanied us to the taxi back, even took us backpacks. And I could go on...!

Olli, our host, and the actual Riad... what can we say? It is perfect.
We like to plan in advance and thus, we asked Olli a lot of questions in advance of arrival and he was gracious, patient, and helpful in all our questions. Upon arrival, hospitality becomes quickly obvious. And for us, the hospitality was immediately obvious. Helping us arrive, immediate providing beverages to enjoy, introductions of the staff, etc. It was a deep care.
The location is safe, convenient, and has an easy pick up area if you are doing tours or such.
The rooms are well equipped (including the small things like soap and shampoo), cute, and comfortable with air conditioning in each.
The actual property is beautiful and comfortable. There are places to sit in the sun, sit in the shade, going swimming, get a massage, etc. Water and juices are complimentary which is a huge plus during the hot months.
Everyone working there cared about us, took care of anything we needed. For instance, storing our luggage when we left for a few days. For instance, if you are leaving for a tour before the 8:30 am breakfast, they will give you a coffee maker, pastries, and fruits in your room the night before.
I could go on and on.... we simply had a great experience. Highly recommend.

There a lot of highlights of this Riad but the stand out has to be the staff and hospitality. Olivier, Mido, Ahmed, Amin and Maimuna were excellent hosts. They were genuine and catered to us from the heart. Providing useful tips and tricks - from places to go, eateries to try (which are established, safe and affordable) and suitable times to visit. Breakfast (included) was an amazing spread. Dinner (additional option) is a MUST! The best tagine in Marrakesh - made fresh to order on the day. No problem..the largest note in Morocco is 200 dh /equivalent 18 euro.
Even if we do not have the chance when needed..lots of shops around and grocery and we will be please to give you a little help with it which is not difficult at all and you can also when needed buy a little thing and get this way the change without trouble ( at all..).
