If this is your first visit to Marrakech, be warned - the city, with its bustle and hustle (lots of that) is utterly fascinating in every way but can also be very tiring for the newcomer. It is an onslaught to the senses, so leaving the crowded, winding lanes and walking through the door of the Riad Honey was like...

Riad Honey was fantastic--really unique and fun building, great breakfast, and most importantly a family of extremely kind and helpful people. They all bent over backwards to ensure our stay was great and our time in Marrakech was enjoyable. Thank you Lachen, Ibrihim and Yusef!

Because it might get cold in Marrakesh at evening and night times - do not underestimate. We, HELIOFLOAT.com , have been exhibiting at COP22. 12 hours a day and after show parties sometimes are eating you up. But we experienced warm welcome and recovered by open chimney fire and fine fresh cooked various tianjin´s nearly everyday. AND EXCELLENT MOROCCO VINES...

A lovely few nights courtesy of Lahcen and his family run Riad. Honey Riad is an oasis of peace set back from the bustle of the medina but still within the city walls. The local area felt safe and immersed in local life. We were treated with warmth and kindness by Lahcen who ensured we were safe and knew where...

Lahcen and his team are really hospitable, friendly and nice. They take care of everything – from the airport transfer to the organisation of trips. The roof terrace is really nice, the rooms are perfectly clean and well designed. The Riad Honey is a bit more expensive than other Riads, but therefore you have quite a high standard and the...

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at Riad Honey Sarl. The whole team were incredibly hospitable and couldn't be more helpful. Hassan (the owner) came to meet us at the medina wall on the first night... so we didn't have to navigate the winding busy alleys and passages. They had brilliant and helpful recommendations for us too, helping...

Having a lovely breakfast on the rooftop terrace and the inner courtyard were highlights at Riad Honey. But by far the best thing was the owner, Lahcen and his family's friendliness and helpfulness. They could not do enough to help us, from organising a mountain trek, collecting bus tickets, advising about best places to go and even helping to buy...

Love this Riad. Very accommodating proprietors. Easy access to square. Helpful planning day trips. Food is excellent. Owner and his family take great care of the place. Clean rooms, modern plumbing, tastefully decorated. It's all you could ask for and more.

Together with a couple of friends we spent four nights in Riad Honey when we visited Morocco in May. Marrakech is an exciting and fascinating city to visit but at times it can feel frenetic, even a bit overwhelming, so it is vital to stay in somewhere you feel completely at home in, where it is cool and quiet, the...

The house is completely renovated and partly rebuilt. We opened the riad in April 2007. The atmosphere is unique, oriental tradition is in combination with a simple and modern architecture. The riad is situated in the Medina of Marrakesh, a 15 minute walk from D'Jemaa el Fna. Each room has a modern air conditioning system and bathroom with shower and toilet. ... more   less
