Food: Dinner very good. Breakfast good. Service: Enormously friendly & helpful, a nice couple to meet. Rooms: good Location: You have to pass through a narrow door in the citywall, easy to miss. But nicely located at the end of the medina. The terrace also looks out to the parks just outside the medina. A shame only that the breakfast...

Beautiful place to stay. We were in Essaouira room, all blue and turquoise. And all the other rooms seem to have their own character, shape and size. Lovely rooftop views over the park, called Lahboul. Simon. Mouna and all the staff were delightful and helpful. Mouna is also a great cook and can recommend eating there.

There are only positives to comment on for our stay at Riad Lahboul. From the moment we arrived Mouna and Simon were friendly and welcoming and gave us excellent advice on viewing the highlights of Meknes. It was lovely to have their delightful terrace garden to relax on before enjoying the delicious evening meal Mouna had prepared for us.

The Riad Lahboul guesthouse is tucked away within a maze of narrow walkways that lead outside to the nearby medina and the old, imperial city - but signs pointing the way to the Riad ensure you find the place easily. The downstairs is big and grand, and richly decorated in old Moroccan style. Our room was on the top floor,...

We arrived for three nights at this Riad after Riads in Fes and Marrakech. We were a little "Riaded out". All the riads had wonderful hosts but Simon and Mouna were particularly friendly and helpful. They not only helped us get around the town and its environs but talked with us about Morocco, their neighbours and the everyday life there....

The guesthouse is situated in the old part of Meknes, within easy walking distance of the medina and the old imperial city. I had breakfast and several tasty home cooked evening meals in the ground floor patio area, which is richly decorated. It was a little cold at times, but perhaps it was a cold March there (certainly, snow covered...

Comfortable guesthouse in Meknes on the edge of the Medina. Rooms are nicely decorated in traditional style, though a bit snug. The roof terrace is a nice place to relax and observe life in the town. The best part is the warm welcome of hosts Mouna and Simon, who provided extensive information about life in Meknes and Morocco, tasty home-cooked...

We were guests more than clients at Simon and Mouna. The feeling is pf being at home. Simon helped us organize a memorable day in Meknes (probably my favorite of the imperial cities) and organize for us the best meal in out Moroccco trip at the restaurant Le Mille Nuits. The rooms and the riad in general are beautiful but...

This guesthouse is more like a small palace with room number 1 beautifully fitted out with a four poster bed and luxurious bathroom. Make sure to have Mouna cook you a traditional dinner in the beautifully restored dining room. Meknes is not touristy - ask Mouna to take you on a tour of the souk to see tradesmen at work...

I traveled to Morocco with my sister (who had never been out of the USA before), 21 y/o niece and my nephew who'd just completed a term at the university in Meknes. We stayed with Mouna, Amina and the children for 3 nights. Simon was not there. We were lovingly immersed in the culture and community and family. The experience...
