This is a good place- lovely terrace to relax on the roof, a beautiful large dining area, kind and accomodating hosts, nice rooms, albeit small- the vast quantity of beautifully embroidered bed linen does not quite make up for the lack of space however-and the food is probably good if you like Moroccan food. I don't.... All in all avery...

Perfect location and by far the best stay on our trip around Morcocco. Simon and Mouna go out of their way to make it a positively memoriable stay. 5 star and homey at the same time. They have put a tremedous amount of energy decorating every single room in a tasteful way. Part of the fun was to lay back...

Great and warm welcome; Rooms tastefully decorated and spotless; Ideally located on the edge of the old town => easily accessible with a car (parking is only 200m away) while enjoying the charm of the narrow pathways of the old town; and only 2 minutes away from Meknes central place in the old town; grocery store nearby; Great terrass with...

The riad is impecabley decorated with attention to detail - especially the dining room was beatifully done with high quality textiles. The riad has a lovely family atmosphere and everybody was really friendly, making us feel welcome and comfortable immediately. Our room was spacious, great shower and clean, while feeling more like somebody's guest room than an impersonal hotel. A...

Simon and Mounia are amazing hosts: nothing is too much trouble. They have only been open for two years and it feels a bit amateur. Quite hard to find as the taxi drivers don't know it and you are accosted by faux guides wanting to carry your bag there. The double room was too small but the singles were fine....

The riad is kept in a typical Maroccan old- style but recently rebuild and modernized with comfortable bath allowances. At night is easy to achive becouse the taxi stops close to the entrance of the riad. But first of all the Simon - the manager is the additional value. And his wife Mouna - is as well a treasure. I...

A lovely Riad made better by the service Simon and Mouna gave us. Not only brilliant service, lovely themed room, great bathroom but above all, excellent food. It was Just what we wanted, old Morocco and tradition food beautifully cooked and presented; more than we could eat. Meknes is well worth the visit-plenty to see and do. The souk is...

We would absolutely recommend this Riad. The owners are very friendly and also interested in yourself as person. So you can have nice conversation with them about Morocco and many other things. They will give you also hints about what to see in the surroundings which was very helpful. The Riad is beautifully restored with many little details. The rooms...

Riad Lahboul is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts are very friendly and they ensure you feel at home. I do not travel on my own that often but I had a lovely time nevertheless. I had a cookery lesson with Manou which was fabulous. She shared her knowledge about the local culture which was very interesting. The visit to...

Meknes apparently isn't on everyone's must see list, squeezed between Casablanca and Fez, yet it's a really interesting, relaxed city to spend a couple of days that's less touristy and hectic than some other cities and yet has plenty to see. What made staying in Meknes particularly awesome was the Riad Lahboul. Owned by an English guy (Simon) and his...
