Mohammed and his staff at Road D'Or are terrific and the riad is a very nice get-away. The restaurant is excellent. I can't say enough good things about the place. I would definitely go back. The price is a bargain - rooms are nice and the roof top terrace with a pool is a great place to relax.

Moha is a very helpful host. The Riad d'Or is a delight. Beautifully restored and with modern conveniences this is a charming place to stay. The roof top terrace gives great views over the old medina of Meknes. Having dinner up on the terrace is very romantic. Lots of staircases. Easy to get lost but the staff are very helpful... More

Exotic ambience. Friendly staff. An experience not to be missed. Rooms are amazing with mosaics, ancient wooden doors. Pool. Views from the terrace on the roof. Positioned in the centre of Medina where you want to be. A nice local wine for dinner.

Close to the medina we found this wonderful place. The riad has a very well decorated, huge and comfortable bedrooms, a beatiful 360º view terrace with a lot of space where the tasty marroquian style was served. Furthermore, Moha, one of the owners was so kind and helped us contacting a local guide for a city tour and with everything... More

I just read the previous review on "Wonderful Food........ etc." I can ditto that! The pictures posted showed exactly what it was like, with the exception of our room having 3 single beds. We were 3 Canadian women (seniors) travelling to Morocco, and Riad d'Or in Meknes was our first overnight stop. When they opened the door after our guide... More

If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay inside the Medina in Meknes, 5 minutes from the major gate, thats the place to stay. Under a new management, Moha and Ismael were extremely helpful to attend my wife and I. A very good Moroccan food on top of the terrace with outstanding view of the city. Very nice... More

She forgot to tell us about the local tax. We have been asking for our receipt but never got it. .Most of the time the shower was... More

Located in the Meknes medina, this beautiful Riad recently had a change of management who have completely redone and updated the rooms. A beautiful rooftop terrace for drinks and meals as well as an open air pool and sun beds to help cool off. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly.
