We had a wonderful time at Dar23, and our stay in Tangier would not have been the same without it and our great host, Peter. The house is beautifully designed, with lots of attention to detail and clearly a lot of passion and hard work but into its renovation by its owner. The rooms are bright and airy (we stayed...

We spent two nights at Dar 23 on a stopover from Spain. The dar is very well located in the center of the old Medina just a few minutes' walk from the port. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the breakfast on the terrace was a great experience. Peter was very welcoming and full of good tips and recommendations....

This is a homely, quirky and relaxing place to stay. Peter is a lovely host and his assistant Mohammed even went shopping for us. It is in the heart of the medina so the streets are always busy but we loved being able to step out into the bustle of Tangier. Even better was then returning to Peter's place to...

Peter's dar is gorgeous. As a former designer, all the signature touches of understated design are everywhere. From the blend of antique hand mirrors that flip to royal China to the herringbone pattern of the floor, this place oozes fashion. The top floor has breathtaking light but you will literally hear all the mosques around you (you're in the center...

We spent three nights at Dar23 in January. We echo other reviews of how wonderful Peter's B&B is to stay. The Dar has been completed renovated and is a warm, lovely, comfortable place to stay. We had a spacious room, quiet, with a large bed. Some days we would hear the call to prayer and would roll over and go...

We stayed 5 nights in Peter's dar, we were looking for a peaceful place where we could rest, we definitely found the right one ! Peter's house is very calm (unless you don't like muezzins but you can't avoid it in Tangier ;-) and charming, its decoration is worth the trip (Peter is definitely a man of taste) and Mohamed...

We spent one night in Peter's lovely home having traveled across from Tarifa. We can only echo what others who have stayed here have reported. Dar 23 was a beautiful, tranquil oasis in the midst of the business of Tangier. Peter was an exceptional host. He spent time with us before we left to sightsee and provided us with a...
