Location: Good. In medina and 5 minute walk to main square. Bed/Room/Bathroom Mattress is a bit old/can feel springs. Several people did get bites during my two days there. Pillow smelled and had lumpy texture. Could offer thicker blankets given how cold damp winter can be. Like the privacy curtain. Good number of outlets in room and accessible from bed....

November 23, 2016 Unfortunately my first night in Morocco slept on a bed with flea at Tangier Melting Pot Hostel that made my entire trip miserable. When I checked in at 6pm, the bed was vacant without bed sheet. 2 more beds soon became available as guests checked out after 6pm. Staff changed the bed sheets quickly and sold all...

I would totally rank this hostel higher if my friend and I hadn't been bit over 100 times by bed bugs. My friend was bit so much she ended up in the emergency room. They had to put her on steroid antihistamines. Bed bugs aside, the rooftop is a nice place to hang out and a light breakfast is included...

I can not find a single thing I didn't like about this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming... the room was the biggest hostel room I have had (hostel room:)!!) and the facilities were great. The roof terrace was the nicest we have seen in Morocco. Breakfast is simple but good and what can you expect for the...

Had a good visit to the Melting Pot, a very busy hostel in the old city of Tangier. The rooms were clean and the beds fairly comfortable, and towels/sheets were offered as well as a complimentary (very basic) breakfast. The staff were well informed and very kind when a friend of mine got sick. The bathrooms can get crowded. Would...

The hostel was lovely. Friendly staff, Nice location, great breakfast and pretty cheap too! I loved staying here (stayed two times, total of 3 nights). I would recommend this place. It's a bit hard to find, but that's not much of a problem. Beautiful hostel for a Fair price!

I was harassed and verbally and physically assaulted by the owner, Luis, on my second and last night this past weekend. As a woman traveling by herself, I would NEVER recommend any hostel where this man is affiliated in any way. It is a shame because the staff was, in general, nice. Arturo is the only one to have stood...

When one is assaulted verbally and in addition physically, moreover in a hotel and by the manager, anyone would have called the police. Hundreds of single women traveling in Morocco and go through the hostel each month. Like other customers, they appreciate our advice and recommendations, and are delighted with their stays. You are an arrogant and rude person and...
