When one lives in a country you regrettably tend not to visit places nearby... We decided to go spend the night at Kipepeo it's only about a 20 kin drive from Dar center... It was excellent and made us think when we don't do it a lot more often. Great beaches, good food, nice bar and best if all is...

We stayed in the 2 level beach chalets as part of an overland trip. They are basic but clean, downstairs is the bathroom (hot water, good pressure) and upstairs (quite steep) is two double beds on a raised platform under mosquito nets. We had the double doors onto the balcony open all night because it was so hot (it is...

Awesome accommodation. The 2 level beach bungalows are fun and great value. Great beach for swimming, great bar area. Not that close to Dar if you want to go to town but would be easy to get transport if required.

For the service: we missed help to bring our heavy luggage, most of it gifts from our Tansanian Parish and School partners, to the rooms. Only some staff we experienced as helpful, active, open and friendly. Cleanliness: walking bare footed in the sand, we had now and then problems with tops from soda or beer bottles and other litter. On...

If you want to save a bit of money from going to the nice islands of Bongoyo and Mbudya, this is your spot. The beach is perfect. You have to pay 5,000 TSH to get in, but then you get a voucher to use at the bar, so you are essentially just buying snacks and drinks to get in. Sometimes...

This was our 4th visit to Kipepeo. We have now stayed there in our tent, twice in one of the raised bandas and most recently in one of the beach bandas. In truth the beach bandas are not as nice as the raised bandas - they are stiflingly hot and although the village made efforts to replace the broken fan...

Water some times is not clean but most of times is good. Nice place for relaxation and playing volley ball. Not far from dar, around 30 mins using ferry then tuktuk. Food is good here but sometimes is late in weekends when its crowded.

I stayed here for quite a few nights while conducting work in in the area. Kipepeo beach and the entire team of staff are amazing! I loved by chalet (which, is a few minutes away from main complex/beach) and it was clean and tidy for the full duration of stay. the available food and drinks in bar were good and...

Helpful staff, good value, great location on the beach, basic huts with shared showers, delicious egg and cheese breakfast buns. Great for escaping the hectic city. Beach can be covered in seaweed depending on the season, but is still beautiful. The water is bathlike.

Nice beach location and reasonable bar area but the camping area and facilities are pretty ordinary. The WiFi is slow and you only get 200mb which lasts about 5 minutes and you have to keep signing in all the time. This place really is nothing special
