This place is super cosy, clean and relaxing yet simple! If you feel like eating simple 'western' food the kitchen is by far best to anything I've tasted in Tanzania.... I mean is not Michelin star food... it's simple food like pizza, burgers and home cooked meals. But the quality of the food is really good and tastes regular Western...

Kipepeo was easily the most popular of the beach resorts in Kigamboni when we visited, much of which stems from a very strong Search Engine presence. In fairness, the beach bandas were incredibly good value at 28$ a night, and were functional enough. However, the food in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss; burgers and spring rolls were...

We really enjoyed our daytrip with Dekeza Dhows starting at Kipepeo. We were just a small group, us two and two ladies living in Rwanda. When we left there was almost no wind and we had to use the little engine. We arrived at the island and had a nice stroll all around. Stunning views and great for pictures. We...

We stayed at Kipepeo before and during our tour through Tanzania and stayed in the chalet as well as the camping ground. The chalet was dated, but comfortable, the hammock on the balcony being a plus. They are double storey with heaps of room, with the beds on the 2nd level, and the bathroom on the first level. The camping...

If you are looking for lower cost beach location this is worth considering but there may be better options. Overall Dar we Salaam is to be avoided high crime rate. We stayed in Kipepeo as part of an overland trip on route to Zanzibar, we had 2 beach chalets which were on stilts. There were armed guard which is normal...

The bandas were a bit pricey at 20$ , but still ok.. Beach was nice, food and drinks pricey, but ... Yeah its a so so place, but staff is friendly. Its not a bad place to get out of the hassle of Dar.

Two friends and I stayed at this Village before we started our overland safari with Acacia. I picked this place as i thought it would be easier with starting the safari; and it was. The reception arranged a taxi driver to pick us up from the airport. He was happy and polite. He told us about Dar on the way...

The small and good and neat and clean The entry fee is reimbursed for soft drinks which is an advantage But surprisingly there is no food service to tables You have to go and order and pay and collect it to your table This is little unconfortable Otherwise good

My family and I only stayed there for a night but we had a great time. The elevated banda we got was big enough for all 5 of us and although it's was fairly open to the elements and mosquitos, neither bothered us during the night. The hammock on the balcony was also a great hit with the kids. There's...

Having been at Kipepeo last August we were happy that we could grab the chance and go again! And we loved it again! The huge bed, the hammock on the veranda, the "natural" air conditioning, the beach, the food, well simply everything was great! We are looking forward to come back soon!
