Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group. This lodge was not where we were suppose to stay because our accommodations were changed at the last minute and we were told this was an upgrade from the Sopa Lodge where we were originally booked. This was NOT an upgrade as our tour guide knew better and as...

First and foremost, keep in mind that this is a very isolated location in Serengeti National Park. This isn't New York (thankfully!). Electricity, yes, its on a generator. Water, you realize they're trucking that in, right? I'll stop being sarcastic there, but I get really sick of people posting bad reviews because it's not a 5-star big city hotel. It's...

When we first read the reviews of this lodge on TripAdvisor,we were all apprehensive to stay in this lodge. On our approach to this lodge,I thought we were heading to eternity, not a single board anywhere!!This lodge is hid in the middle of rocks and cannot be seen from one side. We drove 11 hours to reach this lodge and it was...

Prior to staying at Lobo, we read online reviews and I have to agree with most of what was said. First, the rooms are tight, but nicely furnished. The bathrooms are average and havee hot and cold running water, which was really nice. The rooms were clean overall, but you can tell they hang dry their bed linens because ours...

Were a bit worried about this Lodge, after reading some reviews. DO NOT LISTEN TO BAD COMMENTS!! This Lodge was amazing. Yes, the electricity does go off. What is the problem, you are in the Serengeti, with the amazing wildlife literally at your doorstep - enjoy it! The food, the staff and the view were all wonderful. We had two...

The rooms and the restaurant are very well appointed with lots of wood, comfortable chairs and large windows. The lodge is built around a kopje which is inhabited by delightful rock hyraxes. Your balcony may be visited by baboons and the outlook over the Serengeti plain allows you to watch buffalo, wildebeest, zebra as well as many of the birds...

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights this month while visiting the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tangeri. The lodge is located in the center of a lot of wildlife action. Around the lodge alone we saw all of the big 5 except the rhino. Within 1km of the lodge was excellent viewing of a large pride of lions, which we...

My two sons (both wildlife photographers and environmentalists) andI ended up staying at Lobo Lodge in 2012 after the Mara River flooded and we couldn't get to the tented camp that Duma Explorer (an excellent safari company) booked for us. As a result Duma booked us in Lobo Lodge which was a very pleasant surprise. Great location for game and...

The hotel was okay. Our room was clean. The food is just okay, and the box lunches for safari were not good. The view from the pool area is gorgeous . We had the misfortune of having to deal with the manager to pay for the Internet . He was extremely rude, pompous and obnoxious. When the Internet went down...

Lobo Wildlife Lodge in Serengeti National Park, is a place to be if you are in Northern Part of Serengeti, set up in a location surrounded by some good looking huge stones. This Lodge offers brilliant view of the Serengeti Plains from its Open Bar / Swimming Pool. Lodge outplays in all the matters, weather it is service, accommodation, comfort,...
