This was probably the least elegant camp we stayed at in our five weeks in Africa, but I liked it a lot. The staffers were really cool - I even convinced one of the guys to come on a fast paced exercise walk with me, which you really can't do by yourself. Yes, there were hyenas right outside the tent...

The camp is a great place in the middle of the Serengeti. The tents are very comfortable with shoer, sink and toilet. The bedroom area is spacious with big comfy beds. Just right after a long day. The lights work off solar power and the water is heated for you. when you arrive at the camp the staff will ask...

The tented accommodation are comfortable and spacious. You have to order the hot water for the shower but the staff is so accommodating that it takes almost no time. There are two separate tents for dining and reception (drink) tent. These are both large and comfortable. You will hear the roaring of the lions or the laughter of the hyenas....

We enjoyed our stay at Ronjo it is right in the middle of the Serengeti and you have animals walking in and out of the camp. We heard lion killing a hyena one night and saw the remains the next day. Exactly what we wanted from our stay to feel close to the wildlife! The food is simple but fine....

After staying at a big lodge in Ngorogora we wanted the majority of our safari experience to be as back to nature as possible within our budjet. What a place this is. Comfortable tents where they spray for mosquitoes when you are out and a great welcome from everyone. Food was good throughout our 4 day stay and the free...

My husband and I were here for 3 nights in Feb 2013. We booked through ATR who were fantastic in organizing our trip. This camp was more rustic than the others, in the middle of nowhere with limited amount of hot water per day but flush toilets. The tents were very comfortable and in the evening you could hear the...

If you are not at the end of the world, you can certainly see it from here. It is fantastic to be someplace that is near absolutely nothing else. The human footprint is only temporary while the place is truly home to the creatures that roar, laugh, and go clunk in the middle of the night right outside your tent. We had...

We stayed 3 nights. This camp is semi-permanent but really out in the bush. You're very close to nature (hyenas and lions calling in the night). The tented accommodation is fine. Clean, comfortable beds, bathroom a bit basic (shower only once a day in the evening) but, really, as good as you could expect given the nature of the place....

We truly loved our experience at Ronjo. Staying here really felt authentic. The tents are clean and comfortable. There was always enough water for the flush toilet and sink. And the staff provided enough water for a hot shower each evening. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The food was fine - some meals better than others, but you're...

We arrived under black skies and with zebra all around the camp! Half an hour later, a storm broke, the heavens opened and the camp site became a running river........but the "boys" were not fazed! Once it stopped raining, they brought us our shower water and got stuck into cleaning up....with a smile! Unfortunately for us, there was only one...
