If you want to stay in a tent, but have the benefits of a soft bud, a luxurious bathroom and shower, this is the place to stay. I particularly like birds. The camp had a number of areas with small water containers which birds as well as some small mammals used. Sitting by the office one can see about 8...

I spent 2 nights here as part of an organized tour, and the experience was so exceptional I actually still have (good) dreams about my time in Africa. This was our last stop on the trip, and while our other lodging was solid, this one was definitely above and beyond. Champagne accompanied our welcome cool towel and juice on our...

We Stopped at this Luxury Resort on our drive to the Western Corridor to see the small Migration and had lunch there. As most guests are out on game drives during the day, the chef gave us a special deal on lunch. Food was great and the facilities are simply amazing, especially considering its remote location. Everything you need is...

My husband and I went there for 3 days and found a hidden paradise. we had a warm welcome from our guide at the airport with Champagne and breakfast. It was just the beginning of a great experience. The lodge is beautiful, the tents are excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. But understand you are in the middle of the Serengeti, there are no fences, and you need to walk to your tent. At dinner one night, we saw Cape Buffalo on the pathways while we were eating. Dear Grjas The Serengeti endured very long dry spell with the seasonal rains just falling again. The rains brought with them more wildlife with herds of wildebeest, zebras and buffaloes and their following prey. It is a sensitive season more so that the animals are new in the area and as you rightly mentioned new cape buffaloes seeking to establish...

Its location is the far western edge of the Serengeti. Thus, if you come from the direction of the Lake Manyara or Ngorogoro it’s a very, very long drive on a very bumpy and dusty road (about 7 hours from Lake Manyara). The lodge is very nice, though. Each tent is luxuriously furnished, including a tiled bathroom and shower. One...
