The hotel is central and the rooms are quite large, reception is well decorated and the roof bar is very nice with good views. However..... our group experienced all of the following: - unfriendly and unhelpful attitude of reception staff - not enough towels in the room for the number of people checked into the room (i.e. two people but...

Cold/freazing rooms due to very old windows, unfriendly reception staff (we asked for blankets that never came, no information about anything was given), not specially clean (namely carpets and toilet) , terribly noisy at night but perfect location and good breakfast.

The Hotel looked good on the first day although the finishing and furnishing of the room is little poor for room lovers, if you are that kind of person who never stays in his room , it is OK for you, the hotel is located in middle of the events place regarding the Tunisian revolution, it is near the old...

The only plus point of this hotel is it is located at the city center and close to the airport. If someone looking for quick tour of Tunis can always choose this hotel. Forget about service from any staff member. The reception is the worst when it comes to receive service.... No money no honey...

Had stayed here a year ago. Main reason was excellent central location & rates offered. Room was very gloomy & old. House keeping very minimal ! Breakfast basic but lot of chaos. Lift was always busy. Reading reviews after one year, I decided to try again for same reasons, but taking advice from others in tripadvisor to ask for renovated...

this hotel is very good, I would recccomend you to stay here. All staff//cleaners/bellhop were very friendly and kind but the receptionist was mardy and wouldn't let us change rooms as the air conditioning wasn't working on second floor and was quiet rude about it. also the wifi was down (not working) for the week we were there. Food was...

I stayed at the El Hana International at the end of a 4 week visit to Tunis. I stayed for two nights and I would class this hotel as average. The hotel would be considered below average, or quite poor by most of us from the west, but nice hotels in Tunisia are rather difficult to find. I have stayed...

I planned to stay for a week but couldn't see a value for the money and stayed only for one night. The location is excellent on bou rkeeba street. Rooms are reasonably clean. Service is very poor except for one guy at the reception who was very friendly and helpful. Furniture is too old and felt like I'm in a...

Stayed at the El Hana for 2 nights in February. Had seen disappointing reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Could not be in a better position in the city on the attractive main avenue. Efficient reception and I must have had one of the refurbished rooms which was comfortable but the sound proofing could be better, not outside noise but the...
