The rest camp is a great place to stay. It's with in walking distance to the town and the falls. It's well kept and has friendly staff that are willing to help out with any request. We stayed in L1 which slept 4 people it's basic but clean. Swimming pool is great also.

We had read some bad reviews of this place and as we headed here we were somewhat apprehensive. However what a pleasant surprise. Maybe it's a combo of factors - lowered expectations, having spent a month camping, and many foreigners expecting "Europe" in Africa. We were greeted with typical Zim friendliness. We are staying in the chalets. They are basic... More

After 30 years I came back to stay at this place again and I can say it has much improved since that time (which cannot be said about everything in Zimbabwe). We had Lodge 19 which was really good. Comfy and clean beds with mosquito nets, well equipped kitchen, quiet surrounding. The bathroom only had a bath so we went... More

We stayed here for three nights in a 'single chalet'. It was very very basic, two beds, a table and two chairs. It was clean but the furniture needs to be renewed (you could feel the springs trough the mattress. They were renovating one of the bathrooms and the renovated part looked good with nice showers. The pool area is... More

Stayed here one night at the end of a camping tour through Botswana. Level ground, a bit close to the railway line, which isn't busy but is very noisy when a train is there. The showers and toilets are good and the bar a relaxing place to hang out.

Centrally located, easy walk to the Falls. I opted for the cabin with ensuite bathroom. During the night I heard the elephants' trumpets. There was 3 elephants across the path, near the neighboring cabin. The camp is well laid out- tents and big groups are in another area. My place was clean- simple, yet adequate accommodations. 2 grocery stores nearby.... More

Cannot fault the location and if we still had our car and tents it would be ok to camp there. But the lodges were very, very run down and basic. Have not seen renovation since the 1960s or 70s I think. Worst I have ever seen. The cost is way too much but that is like everything in Zimbabwe -... More

We stayed here two nights, unfortunately only the lodges (which can house four people in a double and a twin room) were available. The camp is really central in town, everything is walkable from here. The in house restaurant was quite good and offers impala steak and warthog schnitzel! It is a bit dear and there's no free wifi. Though... More

We stayed in one of the lodges for 3 nights. If you look for basic/rustic, clean and very reasonable priced accommodation at the Falls - this is it. Don't expect much - no microwave, no hand towels, no comfortable chairs, no television, clean bath towels after 3 days. The minimum furniture and kitchenware. This is ideal if you intend using...
