A relaxing boat transfer into the lodge and a warm welcome from Jonathan and his team started a great stay for us at Zambezi River Lodge. The rooms are huge and spacious and tastefully decorated and have super comfortable beds. The outside shower whilst watching the Zambezi and wildlife is also just too special. We enjoyed a river cruise with... More

This was our last stop of a month-long trip through South Africa. We had been staying at amazing places so the minimalist National Park structures were a bit of a shock. Once we moved past the initial reaction our Villa 2 was well-located looking down the Zambezi River with lots of animal life wandering by. It was a "real" experience.

This was our first experience in a tented camp. It was very comfortable and had many amenities that were a plus. The property is very clean, modern and had great views of the Zambezi River from every tent and common areas. The staff was so friendly and eager to assist in any way possible. The only negative is that wi-fi... More

Lodge was amazing, staff was on top of everything and did not muss a beat. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, hard working, service was very personalized. Lodge in a great location with great activities included in any stay, no matter how long or short you are staying. Amazing!

So delighted we ended up staying in this magnificent place! Inclusive in the rate are all your beverages (they have a great selection wines and spirits), a river cruise or game drive every morning and every evening as well as a guided tour of the falls. The location is just mind blowing, with elephant, buffalo and hippo passing through camp... More

After a week in two other tent camps, I wasn't looking forward to another hot tent experience. My surprise and delight at seeing this Lodge made Shannon burst out laughing. The place is beautiful, comfortable AND 'tents' (if these beautiful rooms can be called tents) have a small air conditioning unit. A mini fridge has cold drinks at the ready,... More

What a magical location! I stayed at Victoria Fall River Lodge last week, and I was impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Lodge arranged for us to arrive by boat on the Zambezi River, which was quite a treat. Service was outstanding and our accommodations were appropriately rustic, but also clean, large, and well furnished. The best part, however, was... More

I must say i was really impressed with the lodge. The location is superb. I like the fact that it makes you feel as if you were one with nature and seeing the animals running around is such a joy. The rooms a very nice with a plunge pool and outdoor shower (which is awesome by the way). I did... More

The overall experience was incredible, the arrival, the friendliness of the staff, the Lodges and the wildlife with Elephants trekking through the resort. The River Cruise is a must, especially for the early sunrise. Big shout out to Jonathan and Andrew who run a great team. If you think of going to Victoria Falls then don't look anywhere else..
