We stayed at Ilala for three nights and it was a great base to explore Chobe National Park, The Zambezi River and Victoria Falls. They're in the process of renovating the rooms and while ours was older style it was comfortable and spacious. The service was wonderful and we are in the restaurant a number times and the food was...

We stayed for 2 nights at the start of the 3 week holiday. Location is superb! Easy walking distance from the falls. Very friendly staff, lovely rooms ( glad we upgraded) and nice food in the restaurant.

We stayed as a Family of Four at Illala lodge in Victoria Falls in December 2016. The adults stayed in a suite and the Teenagers in a Twin room. The lodge is very comfortable and stays true to the old Colonial style. The dining room and reception area is elevated and looks out over the Falls which are obscured by...

We spent 2 comfortable days and nights here. Our room was ready as we arrived from the airport and we unpacked and then came down for our river cruise on the Zambezi. We chose one with drinks and snacks. The next day we took a guided tour of the falls by Absolom who knew how to best use our time....

The Ilala Lodge is situated near the Victoria Falls and we could see the mist of the waterfall from the hotel garden. It's merely 10 minutes' walk to the National Park and the great waterfall. The hotel too is in the Victoria Falls town where we can take a stroll along the main road and buy some souvenirs. The hotel...

My trip is 4D3N. I'm on my third night and I love this hotel. The key thing is the service. By now, most of the reception and concierge staff know me by name. They frequently chat to make sure I'm fine. The room is clean and overlooks a big green field. I spotted a warthog and a bushbuck from my...

We had previously stayed at Victoria Falls Hotel but Ilala Lodge is far superior. We had an upgraded room which faced the Falls and the mist was clearly visible. A very comfortable room with zircon, double bed, tea/coffee facilities and mini-bar. Large bathroom with all amenities. Nicely located near the Falls and local shopping and the National Park. Just down...

Reminding you of years gone by, Ilala was a great visit. Rooms were a good size with nice amenities and the location was the best. 5 minutes to downtown Vic Falls and a 10-15 minute walk to the Falls. The food selection and quality was great with awesome wild game selections. (Crocodile with mushroom risotto was incredible) Staff was helpful...

We stayed here 10 years ago and decided to stay for a weekend again before going off to SA and Cape Town. I am glad we made the effort. Every thing about the Hotel is brilliant. The staff could not be more efficient and friendly and I think that it is all down to the Manager Martyn. He was there...
