Spent 3 nights at this lodge. Room was nice and spacious with beautiful view of the mist rising from Victoria Falls. They set out an amazing continental breakfast and also offer a cooked breakfast in addition. They also have a lovely dinner menu. Highly recommend the crocodile! Breakfast area was also very nice. Enjoyed sitting by the pool and by...

Victoria was a great place to recover after long flights to Africa and before safari camps. We stayed in the new wing which was beautiful, great shower and views of the mist from the Falls. The dining room was excellent with open vistas of the beautiful ground. On top of everything else, the staff was wonderful.

Rooms were good, spacious and nicely appointed. They are in the middle of renovations but it doesn't interfere with your stay. Staff very accommodating. Close proximity to the falls. Dining room was great as it has good food and great decor.

My wife and I stayed one night to see the falls. The proximity to the falls is in walking distance. You can hear the falls and see the fog from the terrace while eating a splendid breakfast. We had a deluxe room which was very nice with a garden view. In the evening we had a wonderful dinner under the...

Besides being able to see the mist of Victoria Falls from the bedroom window, and from every table in the dining room and bar, there were monkeys, warthogs and mongoose on the lawn. The spa was under renovation, so we got massages and pedicures in our rooms. Spoiled rotten. About the only negative was the little jar of cookies they...

We had an upgraded room due to renovation works. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, we loved the crocodile risotto and ostrich steak. It's an easy and safe 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the Victoria falls

We could not have been happier with Ilala Lodge. Excellent room with view, extremely helpful staff and good food. The hotel is being updated and clearly our room had been done. The on-going work was not an inconvenience. We only stayed one night which was enough to see the Falls - a taxi took us to the park entrance (fee...

Ilala Lodge is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant. The hotel is on walking distance from the Victoria Valls and the city centre. The rooms are big and convenient and the hotel has a big garden with a swimming pool.

I had an excellent stay for 2 days. Walking distance to the falls and Zambia. The lodge is excellent and served really good food. The first night the lodge arranged an evening trip on a raft on the Zambezi River. Full bar and snacks! We spotted hippos and vultures. After the trip we had dinner at the lodge.

Chose Ilala Lodge on my re-visit to Vic Falls and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a beautifully maintained environment. Rooms are nice/tastefully furnished, a bit on the tight side with two beds in. Nice to have the balcony. Nice to wake up in the morning have a cup of tea looking at the thunder rising from the Falls at the horizon....

Thank you for the extensive review and feedback. We always recommend Elephant's Walk shopping center because of the awesome crafts on sale so will certainly pass the feedback on. Glad you enjoyed your stay and the sight of the Victoria Falls every morning - very special!
