The hotel has a warm, intimate, colonial feel about it without being 'snobby' like you get in most first class hotels. The location is fantastic, food is excellent and staff very attentive. Outside the hotel you are constantly bothered by street peddlers, so all the more reason to stay inside when you are not visiting the falls or other attractions!...

For a first time visitor like me I think the ILala lodge is in an excellent location; it's within a walking distance to the Victoria falls, easy access to the town centre, market and Seventh Day Adventist church was a bargain for us. From the 1st to the 4th January 2015. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay with my mum,...

We were two couples and we stayed for 3 nights and the hotel is located very close to the Falls. You can see the spray as you sit on the hotel terrace. The hotel is located in the centre of the Vic Falls town so you do get pestered to buy souvenirs etc as soon as you walk out of...

Stayed for 4 nights. We were in a suite so it was more than we needed but what the heck. Fantastic accommodation, wonderful restaurant and great service. We could see the mist from the Falls through the tree line from the balcony. Can't say anything more, don't need to.

Spacious, comfortable, cosy and efficiently run hotel. You could tell this has been done up to attract the monied of the world. There were French speakers, Isaelis, American voices all with Victoria Falls obviously on their hit list. The food for dinner and breakfast had a large choice and the food was very well cooked and served.

We were on a private tour of Zimbabwe, and the tour operator selected this hotel for a stay of a couple of nights. There are probably fancier hotels in Victoria Falls, but this hotel was very elegant and relaxing at the same time. Nice setting and within walking distance to the Falls and markets.

Stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Victoria Falls. The lodge is within easy walking distance of the falls but you will have to run the gauntlet of the street sellers when you step outside the grounds. We spent a few hours visiting the falls which is amazing. We also went to nearby Elephant sanctuary to ride the elephants, took...

We spent three nights at the Ilala Lodge at Vic Falls and it proved an excellent choice. We had an ensuite deluxe room which was spacious, tastefully decorated and with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The location is perfect, an easy walk to the Falls and what could be termed as the "Main Street" with curio shops and a couple...

We were welcomed with cool towels and a refreshing drink. Swift checking. Nicely appointed rooms, all with acces to garden with grazing wart hogs. Friendly employees. Good food. Nice pool. 5 minutes walk to entrance of Victoria Falls Park. Near bridge for bungee jumping. Shops and restaurants nearby. Will definitely return.
