Upon arrival we were met by friendly and efficient staff who catered to our every need. Game drives, river cruises, Chobe National Park visit and Victoria Falls tour were all conducted by knowledgeable and witty staff who made each experience beyond enjoyable. The food was exceptional and plentiful as were the drinks and conversation. I would highly recommend Imbabala for...

This is one of those rare times you wish you could rate with six circles. A great place to do safari drives in the national park. Minimal tourists. Loads of wildlife. Staff will also take you on the Zambezi on a boat to view that vantage. Hosts Sarah and John are just the best. Guide Richard is clever, funny and...

We stayed at Imbabala for 3 nights and could not have been happier with the experience. All of the staff, especially the camp manager at the time, Sue, were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the homey nature here, eating meals at the same table as other guests and being able to walk right...

The lodge and grounds are beautiful -- truly amazing. All bungalows overlook the river and provide a sense of community with other guests and staff, while maintaining privacy. The hospitality...

Great time of the year to see animal babies and tortoises. Beautiful view from the camp. Super friendly staff and Sarah and Jon looked after us so well Thank you

We absolutely loved our stay there in June and think and talk of it often. Our guide Richard was just the best. His knowledge about birds was second to none and we ticked over 100 bird off our checklist. Our room was perfect however a small bar fridge would be an added bonus. We had a breakfast cruise on the...
