I swear this place exists outside of normal time - I had been very busy with work, and staying here was exactly what I needed. The natural setting, grounding in history, and welcoming, carefree hospitality left me totally refreshed.

The villa is like a peaceful retreat. It was the perfect place for unwinding after long flights, and a superb base for seeing sights in Addis before traveling to other parts of the country (although the location far north is not ideal for getting to sites in the city). Eyeru was a wonderful host, full of stories and information about...

Eyerusalem's and her staff's warm and welcoming hospitality made this feel like our family's home in Addis. We loved the villa, our rooms, the food (wow!) and getting to know Eyerusalem. This is a unique and wonderful place. I highly recommend it

This villa is the perfect and tranquil respite for those that want a peaceful and pleasant stay in Addis. I came from Abu Dhabi simply to get away from it all for a week. My luck was that the Orthodox Easter weekend was taking place during my visit. Jerusalem, the owner, was the perfect balance between accommodating and granting privacy...

Abbaba's Villa is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Addis, and owner Eyrusalem's hospitality is faultless. We were there over the Meskal festival, and got to witness an authentic celebration with members of the community: one of the many charms of staying in a homestay rather than a hotel. Set in a sprawling garden, home to several...

We spent some great days at Eyerusalem's truly charming home/oasis (which is very well located). Eyersualem is the perfect host, so kind, welcoming and generous with great tips for exploring the city. Breakfast and dinner is fantastic, the room was beautifully decorated, super clean and cozy. Well, what shall I say more. We simply had a great time (thank you,...

My family and I spent several days at Abbaba's Villa in Addis Ababa. What a lovely place! Quiet, historic, committed to preserving Ethiopian culture. Meeting the owner, Eyerusalem, was one of the highlights of our trip to Ethiopia. She is a wonderful person and now a friend. As a visitor, I appreciated the hospitality and care, and also loved the...

Founded from a vision to serve hospitality, warmth, wholesome food, and a unique experience, Abbaba's Villa is in a green area in the Entoto Hills, at the outskirsts of Addis Ababa. We have chosen Abbaba's Villa to run our retreats, and enjoy the ambiance, wholesome food of Ethiopian delicacies with a twist, and super helpful staff. The Guest House is...
