An afro style restaurant with very good. I recommend the couscous beef and beef "brochettes". The service is good, don't get annoyed for waiting, everything is fresh made on place, no prefabricated stuff. The owner is a nice person, helping English speakers.

We were pleasantly surprised by Bamako in general and staying at The Sleeping Camel was just an extra layer of comfort. Superb staff, great location, great menu :) and just a great place to meet other travellers. The AC broke down once during our stay (and repaired), wifi a little slow, but other than that, top notch! Recommended.

Great hostel, the staff are very friendly and will bend over backwards to help you out with anything you need, from the best night out to booking cars and transfers they have it all covered with trusted providers. The hostel is clean and tidy and has all the things you would expect plus a few you wouldn't (water misting in...

Rooms are clean and bed sleeps wel and with power the AC give cold air Staf is extremely helpful and the drinks are cold and the food is very good. Make a cruise on the Niger with a cold beer and enjoy the sunset and river life of the locals

Stayed here for a week in our tent, great place. You feel safe and secure inside the compound. The food is great, a decent selection cooked very well - beer is also cheap and cold! The staff are fantastic. Good location for embassies if needed.

We didn't stay here, but stopped in for a beer one evening and for a light lunch the next day. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty. The menu isn't extensive, but there are a variety of choices. Service is pleasant, but spotty. There are sofas and seats in open air or covered spaces. There were also several hammocks for those...

This is a great hotel. Polite and good service, good food and very low prices. I stayed in this hotel in March 2015 and now I will stay only there. In "Sleeping camel" everyone can feel the charm of Mali. Besides, this hotel is located in a very convenient and safe location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who...

The place was great, the staff are nice and helpful. You can ask for rooms with bathroom, without bathroom or simply camping out at the yard. The food in the restaurant also good and they have a big screen for movies or sport games too. it is a bit difficult to book the hotel as they always full.

When I came to Mali I spend the first couple of days here, and when I was leaving I spent my last days here. This place is great and you really feel secure here, its peaceful and they have wifi and the hosts are nice and helpful. The prices are good and its close to the city center and the...
