We stayed here for one night en route from safaris in Botswana to safaris in Namibia. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, but a bit dark and outdated in decor, I would imagine quite difficult to keep clean. The service and food were good, without being outstanding. The location is out of town - which has its advantages, but also...

Good service and friendly staff! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect! Always an option for Sunday lunch or a saterday sundowners. Their sundowner platters are the delicious. They have a great sunset view over Windhoek ideal for sundowners.

We were so looking forward to a comfortable night having spent the last two weeks of our trip camping. This was our last night treat. Sadly, it didn't go well! We arrived around 2.30pm knowing we couldn't check in until after 2pm. We waited a good 10 minutes, unacknowledged by the barman who continued to make drinks with his back...

a great view on the city on one side, a great view on nature on the other side. Comfortable cottages. A perfect stay to start or to end your trip to Namibia. Only negative; they offer an evening diner (set menu) that is more expensive than what you can get elsewhere.

We stayed 4 nights at River Crossing. We really like the staff who were super friendly and happy to go out of there way for us. The rooms are spacious, clean and homey. The views are fantastic and there's a pool. If you're staying in Windhoek this is a short drive from the city centre. Just be aware that at...

The dirt road is long and very dusty but a small price to pay for location and view. Food and service was good. Nothing very strong in the bar and wine arena. The rooms are located away from the main building but the path way to rooms 12 - 20 are dirt walk ways where your pulley case does not...

Hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of Windhoek so you are avoiding any rush hour traffic and it's a bit closer to the airport then your typical downtown hotel. The rooms are basic although the shower is pretty weird - it's an open shower, but shower slope is not proper and so you end up with water on the...

We booked a chalet at the lodge for two nights on our arrival in Namibia. The lodge is a short distance from the airport and only a few kms from the city. We booked a chalet with a mountain view and were very pleased with the one we were allocated (number 15). However all of them have great views as...
