This is a small B@B establishment in a nice suburb of Windhoek. It has a small dining room which serves all day coffee, tea and very nice home made cookies!! It should be recognised that this villa is sufficiently far from any kind of eatery that a car or taxi is an absolute necessity.

Villa Violet a good address in Windhoek when you arrive for your trip thru Namibia. The Villa is conveniently located and is the starting point for shopping and other tour preparations. It is also in walking distance to Joe's Beerhouse. Properly maintained rooms and freshly made breakfast in the morning.

This is a very laid back resort. Honesty bar is something I haven't come across for a long time. Not large and spacious but convenient for town. Rooms clean and not small. Security guard around all the time which cuts back on worrying. Worth staying in for a short as there doesn't seem to be much to do in Windhoek.

Nice guest house - pretty much as expected, comfortable and clean. No 'wow factor', but doesn't ever claim to be a luxury/ boutique hotel. Hot shower, safe and secure parking area, quiet neighbourhood. Staff very good. Disappointed to see, amongst leaflets in the reception area, a leaflet promoting trophy hunting - personally wouldn't return to an establishment that supports these...

Two families of 4, both travelling with 2 teens each. Last night's stay in Namibia. Very cute accommodation. Nice room overlooking lovely garden area, and great hot water in the shower. Rooms have glass fronts, so close your curtains and ear plugs are always helpful. Gated parking for your vehicle. Cozy common area room for reading. The ladies who cooked...

Excellent location, walking distance to Joes Beer House. Friendly service, rooms opening onto garden area which was very well kept. Adequate sized room. Very good wifi and excellent breakfast. Would stay here again if visiting Windhoek. Honesty bar is a good idea which we used.

Very much enjoyed our stay with Villa Violet. Your rooms, home cooked breakfasts, service and location were all lovely. Thank you so much for looking after my parents and I during our recent visit to Namibia. It was the perfect start and end of our trip.

Stayed here for a few days in May and had a very enjoyable stay. Situated in Klein Windhoek, Villa Violet is in a very safe neighborhood while also being close enough to nice restaurants and shops. Rooms are not huge, but are big enough and quite clean. Breakfast was always a treat: fresh fruit, homemade bread, strong coffee, and smoked...

There are a number of things in Villa Violet's favor. It's easy to get to if you are coming to or from the airport. The breakfast is very good. The grounds are pretty. The staff are helpful and very nice. But the rooms are just really really really small. We only had backpacks but our stuff barely fit. Plus, all...

Although the guest house grounds are quite pretty, the rooms are a bit dated. Also the hot water in the shower would turn boiling hot with no warning- it being a small shower, you couldn't jump out of the way! The shower stall also had poor drainage so you stood in inches of water. The breakfast was also not very...
